Ticket #1862 - My site test SSL OK, but can't [merchandise returns]/[Checkout]

Dear Marek

I find a big that never found before , i was ever use other theme , the [merchandise returns]function always functional, but [Alysum] can not use it.

Just pretend i am customer, if i want to return product, i can go to [ my account > History and details of my orders > order (#xxxxxx)]press and file request.

But today i want to test this function again, it not work (see pic01 -1/2/3)
mark 1: When i pressed the order number, then firfox comes to show mark3
mark 3: The sign becomes grey, the message tell me this site is not safe, so browser blocks me to continue…..and i can’t get into that order number to see the order details.

See pic02, I test the order procedure, when checkout, system jump out the message window, [ it means: although the page is encrypted,but your connection is not encrypted …….do you want to continue? ]

I have bought Possitive SSL and is using it now, after i check the SSL , it is OK, see pic03

What’s happened?()

Please, please helps me quickly fix that, this bug deeply effect the [checkout] and [merchandise returns]procedure , i really need your help, and i’m sure other theme is OK, i build 2 site install different themes.

I have ask your helps many time including the langs bug(cannot translate into other language , although i’ve done translation work) few weeks ago, does V2.7 also includes in the update?

I don’t see the issue in your shop
I bought some product, just for test, and all works fine.

CHeck pic02 , was capture under checkout step before[confirm order] the message box is tell you although SSL is work but the connection is not safe, but pic03 shows the SSL work fine, i don’t know which part went wrong.

Dear Marek , i gaved up to fix that……. and turns into upgrade Prestashop into 1.5.6.0 (and …..the SSL problems solved), i read your theme settings documents, but i can’t adjust the module positions , please take a look to see if there’s anything wrong?

I want [ awShowcase Slider ] to be the home top , and [ Promo minic slider ] be second , , and [ Manufacturer ] be third , but no matter how i try to change position in hook , not work…..

Are these modules fixed in their own position and can’t change?

I just tried switch off promominicslider in themesettings and just choose awShowcase Slider , guess what ? these 2 modules not display…..

by the way, i want remind you, the other modules after install ALYSUM theme , they can’t display in FO , but check in hook, they all positioned, for example, i just install [news]module , it’s OK and setting done(pic01), but in front , the module just don’t display@@(pic02)

Dear Marek , i want ask , does V2.7 Alysum theme can not reposition these Alysum modules to other hook? and other module can not hook into top or home or 1234567 ?? i tried many times , it’s makes me so bored , how could i freely arrange the sequence of module display?

Truly important ! because i want reposition any module( display in home/top ) to the place i want them to be.

Dear Marek 

  Today i tried to understand your theme settings , i found several items needs help(modify or upgrade):

1.Prestashop 1.5.6 Hook Setting doesn’t support display Hook[ home01/02/03/04/04a/05/06/07 ] maybe you should upgrade your theme to match.
2.I suggest you could open theme hook limitation to accept other module ( not belongs to Alysum ) to hook into [ home01/02/03/04/04a/05/06/07 ] , if changed , Alysum theme will more flexible to beautify layout and match some people like me with other module want use in Alysum layout.
3.The Alysum V2.7 can not remove the origional position and hook into other position ( like display top), so return item 1, i suggest you have to upgrade version to match Prestashop V1.5.6.0

Please , give me a upgrade version to solve all these problem, Wish Alysum more and more better

i think Alysum with Prestashop V1.5.6.0 will be a perfect combination, Prestashop 1.5.6 with many good functions than V1.5.2 :)

1) I don’t see the problem with the positions. Everything looks ok.

2) You can add in the Alysum custom hooks any module. You just need to add in the module php file this new hook.

3) ShowCase didn’t display because of module configuration. I’ve enabled in the module Options “I need multi language” and now it’s ok

I didn’t change anything in the Positions. You did everything right. I just deleted the modules duplicates in the positions.

4) News module. I’ve switched to the default theme and I see it in the home page left column http://screencast.com/t/mdkhz7JMlfa But Alysum doesn’t have the left column on the homepage. This is the reason. If you want to see this module on the homepage you can try to change the hook for it

4) Just change the name of the hook in the function 

public function hook"SOME_DEFAULT_HOOK_FOR_THE_MODULE"($params)

change to 

public function hookHook_home_06($params)

it should work

Go to the Modules>Positions
in our case click “Display non-positionable hooks”
and in the bottom in the hooks
hook_home_xx
delete the duplicates of modules

Hi, so you means this is because of the protocol issue? if one day i don’t use SSL , so i have to change the code in sample.tpl?

can you modify a version to auto catch https/http?? i think that will be better :)
