Ticket #4234 - Issue with Metatags (title, description and keywords) overwritten.

In first place we would like to thank you for your excellent work and for your assistance.

We recently purchses theme Alysum for one of our customers for its neat design and ease of use, nevertheless we are having a serious issue regarding the SEO optimization of the website.

It seems that when a new product is created the featured products carrousel lite modifies the head of home/index overwritting the metatags title, description and keywords, and just adding the text found in home. This of course is hurting bad the SERP of the site.. sinking deeply.

Considering our mutual client is a seller being not correctly indexed by search engines means no sales, and that means loses. So, urgent solution would be necessary.

Could you please describe me how do you determine the issue is exactly with product carousel?

Greetings,

By discarding other options/plugins, since the product carousel is the only item in index that is changing its content as it is updated (new products added). All the other content in the homepage is “static”.

All the other pages of the site work just fine. Carousel lite is only present in home.

Might be wrong, after all you know better your theme: im a mere user.

Ok, I need to clarify more.
Have you tried to check meta tags with disabled carousel?
