Ticket #6327 - Problems with AWshowcase and more

Hello, i have many problems with this product. Can you help me?
When selecting the pin-associated product, the awSlider does not shows the list of products, instead it gives me a plan jSON
So many times i set an option, save, and then the theme option is not saved.
Font system is not coherent: i can change the main font but then it will not be used everywhere (example: the cart is always with the standard font)
Slides in the other languages should exist in the main language until translated, why do we need to re-create them in every lang?
The main menu alwys shows a secondary space for a 2nd level menu, even if i have nothing in the 2nd level
The (black) color of the top header and footer background should be configurable
Many objects are not translations-driven (ex: the “sale” label in the preview)

Please help me.
Luca

Hi,
1) AwShowcase fixed.

2) You can use Theme Settings > Typography & Colors tab to set your fonts for headings and description texts. But the “Cart” in the top bar is not a simple text, it’s a link. You can change all the font on the site with the css modifications.

3) Slides in the other languages should exist in the main language until translated, why do we need to re-create them in every lang? If you enable “I need Multilanguage” option then you need to add slides for every language. The existing in one language slides should not duplicate for other languages. This is default module work.

4) If you don’t plan to add 2nd level subcategories to your menu item then just don’t activate Main Section (or any other section) http://c2n.me/jgVqhm

5) Add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS

body {background-color:#000 !important}

And change the top bar color as you need.

6) All translations can be done in Localization > Translations > Installed modules translations and Front office translations

Yes i see you have fixed the slideshow, but i had to remove the entire template because it was buggy and too many times it was loading bad. My client was upset and i had to fall back to the default theme that goes smoothly.

So bad there is not a refund for digital stuff.

Luca.

Hi Luca,
if installed properly Alysum theme is pretty much stable and fine working. If there are any small bugs we always gladly help our customers to fix them asap.
Only the issue with the AwShowcase slider you described was a bug and we have fixed it. All the other issues from your list are not even bugs. You just needed to configure your theme.

Sad to hear that you had bad experience with the theme. If you actually had many bugs or problems with the load speed you should have contact us. But I see that this ticket is the only one you opened on our issue tracker.

If you decide to go back to Alysum theme we’ll be glad to help you with any problems you have.

Best regards!
