Ticket #6550 - Venedor causing huge performance issues

Hello,

for some reason, when Venedor is active, page takes few minutes to load! I switched to default theme and everything worked fine. I switched back to Venedor and huge page loads came back. I have no clue why, I removed and updated Venedor, but still the same. I activated default theme now so you can access it faster.

Hi. Can’t access with the provided access. Please check http://c2n.me/38FZJCr

It has HTTP authentication set. HTTP user is max, password is same as for BO.

I updated access details.

Hi. It’s some hosting problems I guess. Even back-office works really slow http://c2n.me/394xq18

I don’t see some problems with the performance in our theme
in your site I see such pages speed:
- Default theme, first page loading - about 18 seconds
- Default theme, second page loading (with the cache) - about 1,5-3 seconds

– Venedor theme, first page loading - about 20 seconds
– Venedor theme, second page loading (with the cache) - about 1,5-5 seconds

Try apply to the hoster and ask why the site loads so slow. Really back-office in most cases loads about 1-4 second. In your case I often see 10 and more seconds loading.

Hi

Same issue i have had too. As i have a shared hosting account, i was told that the Site/BO and them are demanding a lot of CPU resources and they have to limit the speed. They told me it was coming from the theme and i should contact them to see how to optimize it. Also i have noticed the theme uses a lot of server CPU resources when i was setting up the the rev or sequence slider in the main page. That was the peak and my hoster told me that too.

Hi. Alex. Thank you for your comment.
But during testing of the Sequence and Rev sliders we didn’t get any performance problem. Also we didn’t get from our customers such issues. All hostings have different configurations. Some specific configuration can lead to the site performance from our theme side and also from server side. So it’s really hard to tell for sure. Need to do a performance tests. Your hoster has resources and experts for that, so it’s easy to do that for them. If they will notice some problems in our modules we will gladly ASAP fix that. But we really didn’t get any problem with these modules.

Hi Alex,

My hoster ran the performance test on my account and they told me i was using a lot the the CPU resources, but they didnt tell me what is causing that. As i only have PS and Vendor them installed in the site and the site is not even published and has no visitors. its logical that its something in the store. So checking on the charts it the CPU overload was precisely when i was designing the home Page slider., First it was with the Pk but as it still has the position issue with the language i didt it with the other slider. so i spend like 3 or 4 days just working on the slider and that was when i went over the CPU limits.

Thank you.

Alex. As I told you before we didn’t get such issues with our test and our customers didn’t write us about that.
