Sorry, login mail updated

Seems to work ok

After you move the module its new position is saved automatically, no need to press Apply Settings button

For me it does not work. Could it be browser related? I do not use windows (Use linux/Ubuntu). I have tested with latest Firefox (not working at all, cant move modules) and latest Chrome (Can move modules but they go back to former location)

nils 27 Mar 2015, 18:11

I just updated to Firefox 36.0.4. Now I can move the modules, but they still go back to former location.

nils 27 Mar 2015, 18:43

OK, now I can get it to work somewhat. Just moved a module at /modules and went back to theme settings. But I cannot change anything else in theme settings because “Apply settings” will make modules go back to former positions.

Hi. Please check the issue with the Windows OS. We need to know for sure that is the issue with the Ubuntu.

nils 28 Mar 2015, 13:34

Hello, I just tested with another computer (win8). Itś the same problem.

nils 28 Mar 2015, 14:31

Could it be a permission issue?

Alex 28 Mar 2015, 17:10

You site is offline or you changed the access in your profile? http://c2n.me/3f42sUV

Login details now updated

Alex 30 Mar 2015, 18:44

Hi. Also as Kate did that without any problem http://c2n.me/3fb9tA3
If you can’t move it in the Theme settings do that in the Modules>Positions There is the PS functionality and it should work well.

nils 30 Mar 2015, 19:30

Hello,
I can now move modules in theme settings. And I can move them in /modules.
Everything looks ok in theme settings/home page until I press Apply settings.
Then modules both in theme settings and in /modules go back to former positions.
No other values in theme settings will be affected. Just only module positions.

Alex 30 Mar 2015, 22:27

Again can’t access to your account to check the issue with the firefox.
With Chrome I don’t have such problems as you have

nils 30 Mar 2015, 22:51

OK, Password should work now.
Maybe I have some firewall/router issue? Since same problem also on windows machine.

Alex 31 Mar 2015, 10:48

Yes. Now I also see the bug. We will try to fix it.

But as I told you before modules re-position can be done here http://c2n.me/3fdeoT4
Modules>Positions There is the PS functionality and it should work well.

Alex 31 Mar 2015, 10:55

I just have got comment from our developer…. Don’t need to press SAVE… :-) http://screencast.com/t/CScDKYtVNO

nils 31 Mar 2015, 11:20

Good you can see the problem now.

Yes, I can arrange the modules and not press save. But if I want to change anything else in theme settings afterwards,
like colors, and have to press save, also the new module positions will go back.

Alex 31 Mar 2015, 15:55

After modules moving you just need to wait about 5 seconds (for script saving). After that you can easy make any modification in the Theme Settings

nils 31 Mar 2015, 16:35

Hello, that IS my problem. I cannot make any modification because when I press Apply settings the arranged modules go back to former positions. I have
tested everything, also waited far longer than 5 seconds.

Since you can move modules and save positions at my prestashop install without any problem, I have to investigate if I might have some firewall/ISP issue that blocks
traffic in some way.

Alex 31 Mar 2015, 18:04

Really strange.
But I think forget about this small bug. Just use default PS feature for that Modules>Positions
;-)

nils 31 Mar 2015, 18:12

Right. But then I cannot use your theme. Because all changes in theme settings (color/button etc etc.) also make modules in /modules to go back to former positions..

Alex 01 Apr 2015, 14:35

So if you move the modules with the Modules→Positions and after that make some changes in the Theme Settings and press SAVE button the modules moves to previous position?
It really interesting.
Please make a video of the problem.
