Hi Juan.
You can change that text in the file /plugins/hoki-features/extensions/woo_categories/woo_categories.php

Juan (j.s.rivera) 12 Feb 2017, 10:49

sorry, where do i find this file?

Marek (marek) 12 Feb 2017, 10:52

But I gave you full path to file

Juan (j.s.rivera) 12 Feb 2017, 19:31

Hi Marek, youre gonna have to excuse me but im a bit lost.

To change this do I do it through FTP?

Marek (marek) 13 Feb 2017, 09:16

Hi Juan.
Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention about that before

Juan (j.s.rivera) 03 Mar 2017, 00:15

want to know more details

Juan (j.s.rivera) 03 Mar 2017, 00:17

Hi Marek,

I can’t seem to find the file you gave me the path to. Can you help me out?

Marek (marek) 03 Mar 2017, 11:18

I just changed for you “shop by categories” to “Shop” You can rename buttons in the file woo_categories.php. Use FTP client to connect to your server to edit files

Juan (j.s.rivera) 03 Mar 2017, 21:07

To do this, do I need to do it through my server page?

Juan (j.s.rivera) 03 Mar 2017, 21:43

The color of that font. Where do I change it? Is it through FTP or hoki settings?

You have been extremely helpful and I thank you.

Marek (marek) 04 Mar 2017, 12:52

To edit files on server you can use Filezilla application To change the color you can use your css and add it to the Hoki settings:

Juan (j.s.rivera) 04 Mar 2017, 14:32

To change the color with my css what is the code i should write down?

Marek (marek) 04 Mar 2017, 16:18

to change the color of block title “SHOP” use this:

.woo_categories-wrapper > h3 {color:#YOUR_COLOR}
Juan (j.s.rivera) 06 Mar 2017, 19:01

Thank you so much. I Downloaded Filezilla and worked wonders.

Can you help me out with the location of the file where i can change “shop the look” and “Our Lookbook” that appear on the homepage? i’ll send you the screenshots of what im refering to.

Juan (j.s.rivera) 06 Mar 2017, 19:02

Juan (j.s.rivera) 06 Mar 2017, 19:18

Looked around and found the file but still cant change the color for that text and the one you gave me the code to change before. I wrote down the code with the color I wanted but it did not change.

Marek (marek) 07 Mar 2017, 10:51

You can try to use following css what will exactly work:

.woo_categories-wrapper > h3 {color:#YOUR_COLOR !important}
Juan (j.s.rivera) 07 Mar 2017, 13:38

Yes! It worked.

And how about the “shop the look” and “our lookbook” font color. How do I change this? Im talking about the titles i pointed out in the two attachments I sent you a couple of comments ago.

Marek (marek) 07 Mar 2017, 14:43

Use this:

.lookbook-slider strong, .fullscreen_title {color:#YOUR_COLOR !important}
Juan (j.s.rivera) 07 Mar 2017, 17:31

Thank you so much. It worked perfectly.

Could you please help me locating the file of where to change the text for the buttons on my homepage? Like always, I’m sending you a screenshot of what i’m referring to.

I can’t thank you enough for your help.

404: $html .= '<span class="ellipsis button-text">'.__( "Quick View", "hoki" ).'</span></span></span></div>';

Juan (j.s.rivera) 16 Mar 2017, 18:12

Hi Marek,

Do you know if theres any way the letters with accent sign (é) for it to appear on the tittle insted of a question mark?

Capture.JPG (56.2 KiB)
Marek (marek) 16 Mar 2017, 21:12

I suppose you need to add font subset in “Hoki options” media.promokit.euscreenshotsscreencloudscreenshot20170316_211227.jpg

Juan (j.s.rivera) 21 Mar 2017, 19:22

Hi Marek.

Hope its ok to write here. Didn’t want to open another ticket for this small thing.

I need to know where do I keep the category from showing up under the “shop the look” on my homepage. I know there are some options on hoki features but it doesn’t cover this part.

Im sending screenshot so you understand what i mean.

Capture.JPG (99.8 KiB)
Marek (marek) 21 Mar 2017, 22:02

You can hide it with following css:

.lookbook-slider-product .product_category_title {display:none}
Juan (j.s.rivera) 21 Mar 2017, 22:40

Thank you!

Juan (j.s.rivera) 22 Mar 2017, 15:35

Can you help me out with this?

How can I change the search plugin? I want it to look like it does in your demo. In my page when I input a word it doesn’t drop down to show me the options like it does on hoki demo page. Im sure its easy but ive been trying to fix it in the ajax plugin but no luck.

search.JPG (102.6 KiB)
Marek (marek) 22 Mar 2017, 15:58

That was a solution:

Juan (j.s.rivera) 22 Mar 2017, 17:35

Easy. Also wanted to know how to put color attribute in the single product page as well as the filter for them on the shop.

color single product.JPG (61.4 KiB)
color shop.JPG (90.6 KiB)
Marek (marek) 22 Mar 2017, 22:01

First you need to create "color" attribute Then go to attribute configuration and add colors like here

Juan (j.s.rivera) 23 Mar 2017, 19:34

Hi Marek, I followed your instructions and created an attribute and then added it to a product, but still is not showing like in the demo. It only appeared on the information tab in writing instead of the squared color.

color attribute.JPG (78.8 KiB)
Marek (marek) 23 Mar 2017, 22:42

Give me a link to that page from screenshot

Marek (marek) 23 Mar 2017, 22:44

I forgot to mention that "slug" should be in English You can take color names here

Juan (j.s.rivera) 27 Mar 2017, 03:33

I did a test with the color "Aqua" for this product: But its still showing in letter on the information tab.

color attribute.JPG (79 KiB)
Marek (marek) 27 Mar 2017, 11:22

To display colors like this you need to do following in product settings Regarding your screenshot That is just information

Juan (j.s.rivera) 27 Mar 2017, 16:44

Oh... alright! Thank you! Wanted to show you something; sometimes in the category page the product list shows up like what im sending you in an attachment. any idea of what that might be? The link for this particular page is:

category page..JPG (92.8 KiB)
Marek (marek) 27 Mar 2017, 17:50

Hi Juan. That's because there is no price in this product

Juan (j.s.rivera) 27 Mar 2017, 23:09

Hi Marek, I put all the font subsets to be in "latin exteded" like you showed me for the accent signs to show up but im still having a bit of trouble.. any suggestions?

Latin extended.JPG (56.7 KiB)
Marek (marek) 27 Mar 2017, 23:10

Which font do you use there?

Juan (j.s.rivera) 27 Mar 2017, 23:47

this is the "body typography" and im using roboto

Marek (marek) 27 Mar 2017, 23:48

ok, give me a link to the page with font issues

Juan (j.s.rivera) 27 Mar 2017, 23:57

Marek (marek) 28 Mar 2017, 00:00

Yes I see now. I suppose you put that text there, if so, that is not a font issue. That is a problem of copy/paste. Please paste that text here in comment's just to check it out. I'll back to you tomorrow.

Juan (j.s.rivera) 28 Mar 2017, 00:45

I didnt copy/paste it. I wrote ir directly on the file. The text is: 1.Los costos de envío serán calculados en cuanto tengamos una dirección de envío. 2.Calcula el costo de envío.

latin extended.JPG (55.5 KiB)
Marek (marek) 28 Mar 2017, 10:50

I can't find a file where you put that text, could you please point me?

Juan (j.s.rivera) 28 Mar 2017, 15:41

1. Themes/hoki/woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php 2. Themes/hoki/woocommerce/cart/shipping-calculator.php On my checkout page there are also some text with error because of the accent signs: Can you tell me how to fix it once youre done with the first two locations?

Marek (marek) 29 Mar 2017, 10:53

Hi Juan. Yesterday I spent much to to find out a solution for this issue. And now I have only one way to make it work and this is native wordpress translation with Poedit tool. Please try at least one word/phrase and let me know the result

Juan (j.s.rivera) 29 Mar 2017, 14:40

Does the poedit work even if the template is up already? on the link you sent me it says that the plug in is to be used before uploading the template.

Juan (j.s.rivera) 29 Mar 2017, 19:11

I downloaded poedit to try and follow your instructions but it says the free version doesn't translate on templates that are already up and running on the host. For this your have to pay the premium version. I want to leave this as a last option so I wanted to ask you a question: DO you know if i could translate the file of the template i have downloaded on my computer and then upload which ever file its necessary through FTP? will it work that way for what im trying to do?

Marek (marek) 29 Mar 2017, 22:53

I just tried once again to translate, and it does't ask me to but pro version. Try to open Poedit and select in menu "File" > "New from POT/PO file"

Juan (j.s.rivera) 01 Apr 2017, 01:52

I will give it a try now in the new domain and let you know if I could do something about it.

Juan (j.s.rivera) 01 Apr 2017, 23:56

Hi, you gave me this code : .site-info .row {display:flex; flex-direction: row-reverse;} for my social media icons to appear in the middle.. how can i make them appear to the far left? they appear to the left on the responsive but on the desktop version they're in a weird position.

Marek (marek) 03 Apr 2017, 11:16

Try this: <code>.social-links {text-align:left !important}</code>

Juan (j.s.rivera) 03 Apr 2017, 22:34

Hi Marek, Can you help me with this two things: 1. In my cart page ( when i try to delete an item from my cart it akes me about 4-5 clicks for it to do so. 2. On my checkout page ( Is there a way to move the check box for terms and conditions to the right align with the page?

Marek (marek) 04 Apr 2017, 10:15

All should be ok now

Juan (j.s.rivera) 04 Apr 2017, 14:21

Hi Marek, The checkout button problem is still on.. the button is only working when you click the bottom half of it. the link area seems to be reduced to half the button. The rest is working perfect.
