Ticket #10400 - Refine search category problem | Category picture

Hello,

I have a few problems with a product category.

1. When I add category description - then a question mark image appears. Can you fix it, please?
2. Refine search category filter - is not working ( this is happening for the first time when I use this platform. I think this is the template. )
2.2 I try to move the ‘‘refine search filter” on the left side on the category page. It seems is not working. (modules positions)

Thank you for your help.

Regards.
Biliana.

Hi Biliana.
1. There was missed image for categories in your back office. I have added it, so all should work now.
2. The issue coming from your server settings, I’ll show you on example.
Here is the result of filtering in your shop: http://bb60studio.com/modules/blocklayered/blocklayered-ajax.php?id_category_layered=3

And here is how it should work http://alysum.promokit.eu/modules/blocklayered/blocklayered-ajax.php?id_category_layered=3

Yes, I see the result looks broken, but that is just technical information.

Please write to your hosting provider support and ask them to fix
2.2 here is option to switch column position http://awesomescreenshot.com/0956awnvbe

Hello,

Answer from my hosting provider(for refine search problem )

” Currently we have investigated on the matter further as the only reference as to error notifications for said application come from the following.

[08-May-2017 10:56:35 Europe/Sofia] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset ‘wishlist_products’ in /home/bb60stud/public_html/modules/pk_customlinks/pk_customlinks.php on line 116

However we have also noticed that there have been error notices with regards to permissions being set for writable-by-group for the majority of your files/folders, specifically for most of the /modules that you can configured for said application. At this point in time we would like to request your permissions to set the default 644/755 permissions for either the entirety of your application or only the /modules folder where your integrations are located so to see if that resolves said issue.

We request that you consult with your developer with regards to such, to make sure we are not overstepping any configuration that they have made with said permissions change.

With the above in mind, let us know if you wish for us to proceed.

Kind regards "

Hi Biliana.
Sorry for the delay.
Yes, that is default permissions are 644/755, but some prestashop folders required write permissions. Here is the list: https://gist.github.com/alexsegura/9650651

The issue this time was caused due to wrong permissions for the blocklayered folder. I have set 755 permissions instead 777. Inside the folder, I have set 755 folder permissions and 644 for the files. Now the module at:

http://bb60studio.com/modules/blocklayered/blocklayered-ajax.php?id_category_layered=3

Is fully accessible. However as you can see the encoding is not correct. You should address this issue to the plugin developer, which will be able to perform the required reconfiguration over the text encoding in order for the output to be human readable.

In case you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
