Ticket #10428 - homeslider doesn't load img url properly

With Venedor theme, in homeslider module when I click in an image it always load an ‘undefined’ URL even if it has one configured in the module settings.

As I can see you are using “button” tag to show button, but I recommend you to use “a” tag like this:

<a href="YOUR_LINK" class="btn">BUTTON TITLE</a>

Marek, but I have your modified .tpl file for homeslider in the right path (check screenshot), should I to change this .tpl with the code you put, right?

Hi Manuel.
I’m not sure where exactly you add that button, but I thought before that is in the module settings in your back office

Sorry Marek, I misunderstood what you were saying.

Yes, that button is added in the backoffice module settings. See attached screenshot.

Even if I delete that button, normal behaviour would be to load the URL I put in the setting but instead it load an ‘undefined’ URL.

This is a problem with PHP code for this module version or a problem in module’s .tpl file in venedor theme? (or maybe some incompatibility beetween module version and ‘your’ .tpl?). That’s my question, maybe you have a newer version of venedor that fix this? My support time ends tomorrow :-( so I want to resolve this before.

Don’t worry about support, you still can write to open tickets.
Have you tried to change your button code with that which I gave you in first comment?
