Hi Pelin.
Go to the “Theme Settings” module. find “Maintenance Mode” tab. You can change the date there.
The path to the image is

/modules/pk_themesettings/assets/images/coming_soon_bg.jpg

So you can just upload your image with name “coming_soon_bg.jpg” to your server “/modules/pk_themesettings/assets/images/”

thanks Marek, but the problem is, I can not find this module in the module installed. I am on 1.7 version of prestashop btw…

Try to look at “Quick Access” see attached image

Pelin 06 Jul 2017, 12:05

It’s done for the date. Thank you.
But for the background image, in the server, in pk_themesttings, there is no “assets” file. I uploaded the image named as you said in /modules/pk_themesettings/images but nothing happened..

Please fill out all necessary fields in your profile https://support.promokit.eu/index.php?do=myprofile to access to your server through FTP and back office, and I’ll try to help you with the issue.

Done,
thanks in advance. I also put you some pictures I would like to see in the background attached.

Would you also take a look at the slider?
I don’t know why I cannot display it on the website (carrousel module?)

Marek 09 Jul 2017, 21:49

Hi Pelin.
I just found you are using Prestashop 1.7, but you have a combination of old theme and new one. That could be a reason of different conflicts. The best way to use Alysum installed on Prestashop 1.7 is install all from scratch. Or another way is uninstall and delete all theme modules, then install new modules from prestashop 1.7 Alysum package.

Pelin 09 Jul 2017, 21:57

Hi,

Someone did some manouver before I install the theme (like downloading prestashop etc.)
What would u recommand? Delete everything I have right now, and reupload your theme? I don’t know if I would be able to delete all theme modules by myself… But I think I can delete the template and reinstall since I havent done much on it. But how?

I want to be sure I don’t have the same problem next time… thanks again

Marek 10 Jul 2017, 08:30

Yes, the best way is install fresh prestashop and then Alysum theme. There is also another way like I said before, to uninstall and delete theme and modules, then try to install the theme once again, but it will take more time.

Pelin 10 Jul 2017, 08:45

Marek, could you be kind enough and explain to me step by step how to delete the theme on prestashop + in the server… I really don’t want to have the same problem later….

Marek 10 Jul 2017, 09:06

1. Go to your back office > Installed modules and uninstall all “Promokit” modules.
2. Go to your server to the “modules folder” and delete all modules with “pk_”prefix.
3. Go to your back office and switch to default prestashop theme “Classic” 4. Go to your server to the “themes folder” and delete “alysum” folder.
5. Install Alysum theme like described in documentation https://alysum5.promokit.eu/documentation/#!/getting_started

Pelin 11 Jul 2017, 18:16

Hi Marek, I did all what you said. It works fine now… Everything is brand new :)
However, I still coun’t figure out why the slider that is on the demo Alysum Classic doesn’t appear on my theme.

Moreove, a lot of links don’t work on your documentation (1.7) which is very annoying for me, a beginner on prestashop…

Thanks in advance

Marek 11 Jul 2017, 22:51

Yes, we are still working on documentation, hope to finish it soon.
Regarding the slider, you need to go to “Theme Settings” > “demo content” and import necessary demo. Then go to revolution slider and just click green “save” button.

Pelin 12 Jul 2017, 17:52

Well Thank you :) Slider is configured but..
I still have a problem..
When I press the green “save” button, here is the msj I get: ajax error!!! parsererror I called my host thinking it was a security problem, the technician told me he didnt understand my request…

u have an idea?

Marek 12 Jul 2017, 22:56

Pelin 14 Jul 2017, 01:54

I finnaly fixed it by just uninstall the module and reinstall it and then reimport the demo content and tada… (if it can help someone else…
