Ticket #10631 - Various problems

Hi Marek,

I am still encountering lots of problems with the theme, first I’d like to know how to update the theme? There is a download available on ThemeForest but what should I do with it? Isn’t it going to erase all my data if I replace the files with the ones present on my ftp?

Then other problems:
1. Some elements aren’t responsive on some web browsers like safari or chrome or firefox. The carousel module for example isn’t fully responsive, the left arrow seems to drift off a bit while the right arrow stays on the picture.

2. On the checkout page, the logo isn’t centered, it drifts off to the left

3. Still on the checkout page, the option “Add new adress” isn’t translated while I already translated it in “Localization→Translation”, so I’m unable to translate this one.

4. Unable to translate “Add Review” on a product page.

5. Unable to translate “In Stock” on a product page.

6. Unable to translate the “Comments” tab down the product pages.

7. Unable to translate “Checkout”

8. Nothing happens when I click on “My Cart”

9. When someone signs up, even if they write their name in small letters, I’d like to force the first letters of each name to be a capital one.

10. Still in the sign up form, I’d like to have a password verification, now you just have to enter a password once. I’d also like to have a date picker instead of a textbox for the birthdate.

11. When people sign up, they get a confirmation e-mail saying “This is your password: " but there’s no password written.

12. Unable to translate “Featured Products” and “New Products” on the main page.

13. When someone posts a review about a product, we cannot see it in the back-office (after posting the review, the user gets notified that the review will first be reviewed by a moderator, but in the back-office nothing happens).

14. As we will basically do “dropshipping”, we would need to have separate shipping costs for each manufacturer, and that the shipping costs appear depending on where the customer is, how can we do this?

We are launching the website soon so we really need to fix all these problems ASAP.

Did you use port 21? I had trouble connecting because I didn’t enter any port in Filezilla

11. That is not related to our theme, but I’ll try to find a solution
12. You have to translate “pk_products” module
13. You can find that on configuration page of productcomments module
14. Unfortunately I don’t know how to do that, but if you ask about that on prestashop forum someone will help you. That is not a question about theme, but about prestashop functionality.

First of all you need to make a backup.
Then you need to download latest theme version from themeforest.
Go to /updates folder and upload all files of each version one by one.
