Ticket #10676 - Probleme with specials character on textblock module

Hello,
I’m trying to use french characters like : ‘, é, è, etc.. with the textblock module but it just doesn’t accept it. I activated the latin extended but it doesn’t seem to work.
Could you help me ?
Thanks

Hi Grégory.
Let me access to your back office to check out the issue. Strange but I don’t see it on my localhost

Hi, I updated my infos on my profil, you should be able to connect on both my FTP and BO. Thanks

Could you please check encoding of the table “pk_textblock_lang”, it should be like this http://awesomescreenshot.com/0486cyge40

It is the same, I didn’t have that probleme on my localhost tests but it was on an older version of php (5.6) and now i’m on php7

When I change the defaults html templates directly on the pk_textblock.php, and then reset the module, it works, but I still can’t edit it with special characters after (directly with the module)

It works, is there a file that I need to copy if I need to transfer your theme on a production site ? Anyway, thanks a lot for the support !

Marek 21 Aug 2017, 21:39

The file is /modules/pk_textblock/pk_textblock.php
