FS#10927 - Blurred product image in product grid page

Hi,

I’m importing the products to the prestashop site built on your template. The sizes of each product image is 1000×1300 pixels (72 dpi) or 10:13 aspect ratio as suggested in your documentation. However, in category grid view the product image seems to be blurred. It’s fine if you go inside product page. It also has a border on top and bottom in product grid view. Any suggestions for proper image sizing to avoid blurring and borders? See attachements for details:

I can make a fix for blurred image, but ab for image borders it’s because your images has different aspect ration then defined in your BO (10:13)

I would appreciate to have a fix for the blur. When I can expect that? Can you give me a guidance how to prepare images/settings to avoid those borders as well? Cheers.

The issue has been fixed. Please check it out.
Advice about images is only one - you must have your image with the same aspect ratio like defined in your BO (10:13)

So if I always use 1000 by 1300 thats gonna be fine in all cases?

yes, exactly.
You can also use other dimensions like
(2x)2000×2600 (1.5x)1500×1950 etc...
