Ticket #10943 - Right column layout not working

Dear Alysum support team,

When changing the “Classic” layout of the Index page to “Two Columns, small right column - Right Column”, whether in the Design/Theme&Logo or in the Theme Settings module, the left column does not move to the right - it just disappears. The main content of the home page remains on the right, the left column disappears, and the content of the left column (list of categories), instead of moving to the right, just is not anywhere.

Hi, Jf
Could you please give me a link to the page with the issue?

Julien (bioseb) 16 Oct 2017, 14:38

Dear Marek,

Thanks for your quick reply. The website is only installed on my local machine right now, as it’s in the very early phases of development - but you’ll find a backup attached to this mail.

Thanks a lot in advance for your support.

Ok, I’ll test it out and let you know soon

I can offer you temporary fix. Enable right column in your back office, and add following CSS:

#wrapper {display: flex;flex-direction: row-reverse;}

Good morning Marek,

It actually only works if I setup the design to be “left column”, then add your CSS. Then the column is displayed on the right.

Is it a problem that will be fixed in future versions of Alysum?

Other question: is it possible to add more Promokit Text blocks to more positions? We would like to be able to add a Promokit Text block to the top of the right column, with custom content.

Best regards,

Julien

I’ll add this ticket to the TODO list to fix in the next Alysum version.
As for Custom content, you can also use “Custom text blocks” module
