Ticket #11079 - Combination and quantity

Hi Marek I’m working on a local server to a new prestahop+alysum and I’m facing with this issu:

Product with combination:

Product A >size M quantity 5 

             >size S quantity 1

On the product page, if I change combination (size) the quantity don’t update, I need to hit F5 and the quantity get updated.

Do you know something about this issue…I didn’t find anything all around

The only one way I can offer you is to remove quantity. Because I can’t find a way to update it

I Marek my client is a pain in the ass with this issu.
I saw that other prestahop site do this correctly,
Example here: https://procyclingpoint.com/it/la-vuelta-2017/3534-maglia-angliru-el-infierno-santini-la-vuelta-2017.html If you change from S to M you can se the update of quantities from 1 peace to not avalibale

I think this is a very important feature if working with comination otherthise client can’t understand if a product is availbale or not and in which quantitis

Can you lkease help me to solve or to give an explanation?

I have tried to fixed a solution for you, unfortunately with no success.
I have put that line “Disponibilità: In stock (99 Articoli)” in the very beginning of theme development, and now it’s removed because it was not good idea

So is better that I don’t use this theme in case of ecommerce with conbination?
If I have for example M with 2 pieces and S with 0 pieces and I chose S I still see 2 pieces avaliable but it’isn’t…this make unuseble and could be very confusing
do you agree?
I think is not a solutionspecific for me but a normal features…did you se the othere prestashop team ?…this works

If you look at default prestashop theme, you will not see product quantity there. I have added that by myself, and it was my mistake because it’s not possible to update quantity on combination change
