Ticket #11350 - Mutiple questions about the theme

Hi,

I just collected the recent bugs I had. Hopefully I can get some guides from you.

1. sidebar missing when click links within the site and go back to home page.

2. error after logging into back office

1. you can enable sidebar in your BO. http://media.promokit.eu/screenshots/monosnap/scr_20180102_113130.png Or another way is to edit theme config file.
Open the file
/themes/alysum/config/theme.yml
Find the line

default_layout: layout-full-width

Change to 

default_layout: layout-left-column

2. That is not related to the theme. Try to disable the module psaddonsconnect

Thanks for the reply. For question 3, I was meant to ask how to add different modules into the sidebar. I understand I can change the layout by using the method you share on question 1. But I didn’t find where to actual manage the modules in sidebar.

For question 4. the link is http://www.anzwines.com/12-red-wines.
And it happens to the home page as well(But I set the site into maintenance mode. So you wont see it). But the above link should give you the error.

You can see there are all, featured, special, men and women. Where to add/remove these categories.

5. category elements missing after a few clicks and go back to home page. Please see the attached images. it supposed to be number 1. But it shows number 2. I have to close the browser and reopen the link again to see all the categories.

3.Read how to manage modules here http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS17/Positions

4.Looks like the issue with some module, maybe Page speed
5.It’s not a theme issue. Try to change module settings.

Thanks Marek. I will have a look 3 and 5. But can you please give me some guides on 4. Because this only happens when I use Alysum theme. There is no such an issue when I use the original theme.

Let me repeat the category issue… when you open the home page. you can see the categories > red wine with expand icon
and you click on the red wine category > you will go to the red-wine page, and under this page you will see all the sub categories on the top left comer.
then you go back from this page. the link goes back the home page. But the categories still show the sub categories. whereas it should go back to the page with categories > red wine with expand icon

Please let me how this can be fixed.

Yes, I see the issue, but it’s a default prestashop module and I can’t change it’s behaviour. Try to change module settings:
