Ticket #12024 - Issues with sliders, home page presets, home page modules on updated site

Hi,
I am trying to update/upgrade to PS 1.7.x & Alysum 5.x and the home page presets do not work and I cannot get any sliders to show - only Banner Carousel. Demo page: http://thestitchersmuse.azurewebsites.net/. I will give you back office access when I know what you want for your account signin.

Hi, Dione.
What prestashop version and the theme you had before?

Dione 09 Apr 2018, 21:10

I started with PS 1.6.0.6 and Alysum (not sure which version). I had a web guy do a fresh install of PS 1.7 and the latest update (at that time - late last fall) of Alysum. He then imported all my database to the new site - which is a test site - not live yet. That’s the address I gave above. My live site is thestitchersmuse.com and I think you already have sign-in privileges for it.

This action is not covering by our support, but we can help you for some price to make it work

I don’t understand… a standard install of both Prestashop and Alysum, and most of the home page does not work, and that is not standard support? It was a fresh install of both - not an upgrade (as per the message in the readme.txt).

What theme version do you use?

Dione 11 Apr 2018, 00:16

On the test (new) site: Preatashop 6.173s, Alysum 5.0.6. There are some mods on the menu which you coded for me a few years ago which were ported to the new site. I don’t think there are any other mods.

You can keep your menu, but I highly recommend you to use latest 5.1.8 theme version, and the best way is to install it from scratch to fresh prestashop

Hi Marek, I have someone who is upgrading the site for me. Can he access my support contract and talk with you directly on what might be happening? I am fine with him using my login credentials.

Yes, of course
