Ticket #12888 - Long TTFB

Hi,

Is there a way to decrease the TTFB? On my site it’s even 4-6 seconds, checked and this issue doesn’t happen on the default theme.

Best,
Kuba

Hi, Jakub.
I have to make some “investigation”. Then I’ll let you know if I’ll find out something

Wonderful, thank you :)

I see you have available two cache options in your server. Try to enable one or another and test out how your store works. http://take.ms/sjIXu

Hmm thanks, I will try them :)

Let me know the result

Hey,

Sorry for a delay. Just try enabling APC and Memcached, but still with both TTFB for a product page is ~1.5-1.7s :(

I’m not sure we can do something with that. The theme has been developed using prestashop development rules. I have one great article about prestashop speed, I hope it can help you https://canonicalized.com/prestashop-speed-optimization/

Read that article, thanks :)

I’m not sure, but maybe it’s somehow related to the smarty cache. When I’ve enabled profiling, despite cache set to enabled, it’s constantly showing “PrestaShop Cache - Mb” on the frontend. cache/smarty/cache and cache/smarty/compile folders are both empty (only index.php files).

Maybe here are wrong permissions for cache folders, please check it out
