Ticket #13185 - Google Maps: problem with 'geometry' property

Hi,
we have a problem with Google Maps and your theme. Our contact page (https://diangisunglasses.com/content/6-contacto) doesn’t load maps and we see infinite circle. Its a problem with geometry property: “Cannot read property ‘geometry’ of undefined” How can we fix this problem?

We already make a fix, and it will be available in the next theme version soon

Mmmmmmm, very strange!!! We have another site with the same theme and the contact page works correctly. How is it possible?????

Marek 02 Nov 2018, 12:49

The problem is definitely with the address. We just added an option to set point coordinates

Hi,
When we try to update the theme, we always get the alert “Update service is temporary unavailable! Please try later.” We can´t update the theme.

JM DA 06 Nov 2018, 15:18

We have updated the theme to the last version and we continue with the problem with Google Maps. We have tried different address and the problem is the same, “Cannot read property ‘geometry’ of undefined”.

We didn’t release an update yet, it will be released as soon as possible on current week

but i dont undesrstand your answer, i have another site with the same theme and google maps works perfectly. There is no error!!! How is it possible?????

Marek 07 Nov 2018, 10:30

The problem is definitely with the address what can’t be encoded correctly. For that reason we added an option to set point coordinates.

JM DA 07 Nov 2018, 10:40

You answer the same another time!!! you dont understand me or dont want….
i have put the same addres than the other site and in one it fails and in another it works correctly. The same theme, the same address!!!!!!

It means something wrong with your Google Maps API key, but not with the theme

JM DA 07 Nov 2018, 10:45

jajajajaja, the same API key!!!!

I have no idea. As you can see it works fine on another store, it means you have some error in your configuration.
