Ticket #14086 - The layout doesn't work on mobile

Hi,

i’ve got a problem with the proper display of the layout on mobile devices. I’ve checked it on Safari (iphone8) and mobile Google Chrome on samsung phone. All I can see is the header and footer of the layout, but nothing in between. What’s more there is a problem with displaying products - none of them are visible.

As I suppose the problem with homepage on mobile is that it’s quite simple and on pc browser version it only uses revolution slider and instagram feed module, which I guess there is no sense to be displayed on mobile because of the screen size. So is it possible to add a module that is visible on mobile version, but is not visible on computer version of the site?

I’d be glad if you can respond for the issue quite quickly. The deadline of the site going live is on Saturday :(

Hi, Karolina.
go to Layout Builder → AMP Homepage Builder and make sure you have amp layout by default.

Hi,

i did not have - I changed it, but still got a problem with mobile. It looks better (at least something is visible, though it’s not slider with my images but a demo one). Also the products are visible which is good. But…

What I also see is that I cannot access the cart on mobile. Products can be added to cart, but there is no place I can view my cart to go to the checkout.

The updated screen in the attachment.

Go to AMP Settings and just click “Apply settings”

OK, the cart, my account and products seem to work fine on mobile. Thank you!

As far as my other question is concerned, is it possible to put on mobile version a module that wouldn’t be visible on desktop? I’m looking for something to replace the blank space where revolutionary slider is not displaying.

Yes, of course, you can build mobile layout separately from desktop
