Ticket #14131 - Zoom in on mobile

Hi Marek,

I reported the issue some time ago and not entirely sure if you have done anything about that in the most recent update, but just to be sure - is the zoom in option on product images works on mobiles yet?

Unfortunately^ there is still no zoom on mobile devices. maybe you have an example how it should work?

I actually can’t find any example to show you but what i basically mean is - when you tap on the product image on mobile, it shows you part of the image. Then if you want to see the rest of the image, you need to tap (to zoom out) and tap on other part of the image to zoom in (because the image in zoom doesn’t move). I thought that would be great if when you tap on the image for the first time, you can then move your finger on the image so see the rest of the image.

If that’s not possible of very complicated to do, maybe the solution is to lock the zooming feature at all so then if a customer wants to zoom the image, he can just zoom the all page. Hope that makes sense.

The other thing is that there’s an issue with zooming the page (not the image) on Samsung s8. Do you know what may be the reason? Everything works fine on iPhone 6 plus.

Hi Marek, I have just checked if zooming on mobiles is disabled and it’s not. Can you please check that again?

Marek 26 Apr 2019, 12:55

Hi Marek,

Thank you for disabling the zoom on mobiles. That helps a lot.
In terms of the website loading, I can see there is improvement with loading, but I still can see the icons and the white background within first couple of seconds. I totally appreciate it’s nothing wrong with the theme as you mentioned before, probably we did something wrong. I just asked for your help hoping you saw some obvious reason why the website is acting like that.
Anyway, thank you for your constant support.

Hi, Lisa.
Maybe you have some module what manage page loading? I see some “strange” code

onload="if(media!=='all')media='all'

What appears on .css files
