Ticket #14253 - password recovery

Hi guys,

So my customer complained this morning that she cannot recover her password.
She gets the email, but when she clicks the link she is again asked for an email.

I have found out this happens only on the mobile (amp) version of the website.

If I click the link on PC I am redirected to the correct webpage and I am asked to set up a new password (https://premamu.eu/en/password-recovery)
If I click the link on mobile (iPhone) outlook app I am redirected to ...module/pk_amp/password and I am asked to enter the email address to send reset link.

I didn´t know about this issue but now I have checked outgoing emails in BO and I can see more customers were trying to recover their passwords and didn´t succeed :( They asked for a new password 3-4 times, this wouldn´t happen if they could recover it on the first try :( Unfortunately nobody complained before...

How can I fix this? Do I need to set up something?

Hi Marek,

Tested today:

1. iPhone - Safari
User Area - Forgot your password? Password Recovery page I enter email - red error "Some error occured".

2. PC - Chrome - Login Page - Password Recovery page I enter email - email is sent and received.

- If I click the link on PC I am redirected to the correct page and I can change my password.
- If I open email in Outlook iPhone I am redirected to Safari and can only enter email again (if I enter email I get the error, see above).

I have cleared history and cache for Safari app. Nothing have changed.

Hi Marek,

now it redirects me to the correct page. But when I am trying to change my password it always ends with - Some error occured.

I have tried to simple password, really strong password, I have paid attention to write the same new password in both fields.

So now I am on the right page, but I am still unable to change password.

I forgot to mention that I have received 2 same emails with "Password query confirmation". I am not sure why it sends the email twice. I tested it now and when I ask for pass recovery from PC (Chrome) I receive only 1 email but from iPhone 2 same emails.

And now I received "Your new password" email. I checked it and the password actually has changed. But why there is that error? (red notice - Some error occured - I attached the screenshot).

1. customer asks for pass recovery
2. customer receives 2 same emails (it should be just one)
3. pass recovery link redirects to the correct page
4. new pass is saved but there is a red notice "Some error occured"
5. customer receives an email about a new pass
6. login with new pass successful

Also, in "Your new password" email it sends variable {passwd} instead of the actual new password (see attachment). Name, shop and email are correctly changed. I have checked email template but it looks OK to me.
