Ticket #15131 - Website Slider

Hi Marek,

is there a way with any of the sliders included to alyssum theme to upload two images (one for desktop and the other one for mobiles) as you can see on images I’ve attached?
If no, does any of your sliders allow to display text under the image (see Mobile-slider file to see what i mean)?

Hi Marek, just checking if you saw that ticket. :)

Marek 22 Jul 2019, 13:32

Sorry for the delay.
I can’t find a way to do that with your installation.
You can consider to use AMP module for mobile devices https://codecanyon.net/item/prestashop-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp/23395559 it’s included in the latest Alysum version so you can take it install to your store

Lisa Keeling 22 Jul 2019, 15:32

Oh, the module looks really interesting!
One question though as we aren’t using the latest version of alysum - how we can check if the module is compatible with our set up?

Marek 22 Jul 2019, 16:02

The module works independently from the theme

Lisa Keeling 22 Jul 2019, 16:38

I have found the modules in the most updated folders (updated-5.3.7-modules), ale I zipped them to be able to upload in modules section, but got the error message every time I was trying to upload.
I then moved the folder pk_amp to alysum-modules directory in ftp, and actually what has happened next was the ‘500 Internal Server Error’ in back office when I click on ‘modules’. So my question is - how do I fix the error in back office (the pk_amp folder has been already deleted from ftp) and then how can I upload those files to modules in back office?

I have attached the image from our back office. I am getting the error page only when I click modules and services.

Lisa Keeling 22 Jul 2019, 16:56

Ok, I fixed the issue with the error message, but still can’t figure out how to upload those files. I assume (based on the youtube video) I need to upload both - pk_amp and pspagebuilder. If so - I am getting an error whenever I try to upload the amp module. Image attached.

Marek 22 Jul 2019, 22:54

The AMP module has been installed. Now you need to upgrade Page builder. As I can see you are not using it, right? if so, I’ll reinstall it for you to make it compatible with AMP

Lisa Keeling 23 Jul 2019, 10:23

Hi Marek,
we usually test things first on our dev site (dev.londoncopyright.com) and then copy it over to the live site. Thank you for installing it to the live site - it’s really helpful, but we still need to play around with the module on our dev site. Could you please explain me what exactly did you do on the live site, so I can repeat that on the dev?

Marek 23 Jul 2019, 17:12

It’s hard to explain. Would be easily to install it for you. Can I get access to your dev server?

Lisa Keeling 23 Jul 2019, 17:25

Sure, I understand that. If you could use same login and password (saved in our settings). Back office - http://londoncopyright.com/admin416efqkm1

Marek 23 Jul 2019, 17:29

I need to know, do you use Page Builder or not? I need to reset it and all layouts will be erased

Lisa Keeling 23 Jul 2019, 17:33

We don’t use the page builder at the moment. What if we want to use it at some point? Does it mean we would need then upload the module again?

Marek 23 Jul 2019, 17:33

No, you don’t have to do that.
I’ll make an update for you.

Lisa Keeling 23 Jul 2019, 17:51

‘I’ll make an update for you.’ - what do you mean?

Just to be clear - if you want to do anything on the live site (not necessary now, but general), let me know before, as we are always nervous with changing anything directly there.

Marek 23 Jul 2019, 17:56

I’m going to update Page Builder module on Dev store to make it compatible with AMP to let you build a homepage, is it ok?

Lisa Keeling 23 Jul 2019, 18:04

sure go ahead with that.

Is that something you’ve done before on live site as well?

Marek 23 Jul 2019, 18:05

No, I don’t. Only AMP has been installed

Lisa Keeling 24 Jul 2019, 10:16

Ok, so I am confused now actually… Why did you update page builder on dev site but not on the live? Was it compatible already? page builder should be the same on dev and live site..?

Marek 24 Jul 2019, 13:10

I didn’t do anything yet. And now I’m confused as well.
Please tell me what do you need and in which store

Lisa Keeling 24 Jul 2019, 13:23

Ok, so you uploaded the AMP module on our live site, we want to test the module out first on our dev site. So I asked you to upload the module there.

I was then confused because you mentioned you need to update page builder on dev site but you didn’t mentioned doing that on live site. That’s all.

So to summarise - we’d like to test out the amp module on our dev site (dev.londoncopyright.com), could you do whatever needs to be done with that module on dev site, so we can check how it works?

Marek 24 Jul 2019, 13:41

I don’t have permissions to manage modules in your dev store

Lisa Keeling 24 Jul 2019, 13:52

Oh, sorry, I just updated permissions.

Lisa Keeling 25 Jul 2019, 10:28

Hi Marek, just checking if you’ve uploaded the module and updated page builder?

Marek 26 Jul 2019, 13:14

I’m not able to uninstall a module https://take.ms/9Mies

Lisa Keeling 26 Jul 2019, 13:22

Sorry again. I just gave you an admin rights so you should be able now to do whatever you need.

Marek 26 Jul 2019, 13:50

how to access to the theme folder on dev server?

Lisa Keeling 26 Jul 2019, 15:15

there is a lcr_dev directory as soon as you login to our ftp files. It’s basically a copy of everything what’s in public_html directory

Lisa Keeling 26 Jul 2019, 16:19

I have attached the image where it’s located.

Lisa Keeling 27 Jul 2019, 11:07

Hi Marek, I am not sure if the full page of error on mobiles (when amp is forced to loading on mobiles) is caused by page builder not being updated yet, but I am sending the screenshot over so you’re aware of it.

Marek 27 Jul 2019, 12:21

I have finally finished AMP installation.
Now you have “AMP Page Builder” and AMP Configuration tools

Lisa Keeling 29 Jul 2019, 10:26

Hey Marek,

thank you. I’ve been testing the tool on the dev site over the weekend and there are few things that I’ve noticed already.

1. Dev site - I am not sure what have happened here, but after the change you’ve done, the bottom part of product page doesn’t look as before. I attached the images. We’d like to stay with the previous version. You can check it here - londoncopyright.com
2. Live site - as I mentioned before - typically once we are happy with everything on our dev site, we copy it over to the live site, so at the moment - as we are still in testing stage - that’s not urgent, but just spotted yesterday that whenever i enable ‘force loading on mobiles’ (on live site) it doesn’t load amt module, the website stays the same.

Lisa Keeling 29 Jul 2019, 11:33

Same with those two..

Marek 29 Jul 2019, 19:48

Do you use Product Page builder?

Lisa Keeling 29 Jul 2019, 23:06

No I don’t use it.

Marek 29 Jul 2019, 23:09

But you have selected product-page layout for Product page https://take.ms/rEIVd

Lisa Keeling 30 Jul 2019, 10:24

Oh, sorry, i didn’t get that, I thought you meant hame page builder.
So yeah, we use product page builder.

Marek 31 Jul 2019, 14:21

Did you disable page builder for product page? because I don’t see the issue now

Lisa Keeling 01 Aug 2019, 12:25

I have fixed some parts in product page builder, but products tabs (description/details/etc are still a mess.

Try following CSS:

.product-features {color:#333}
