Ticket #15678 - slow

Hello Marek,

The website is life now for two weeks and we find that the front-end is rather slow.
When people put things in cart the wheel spins about 4 times… it takes a long time to go into cart, customers complain about it.

Have you got any idea why this happens and what we can do about it?

I make some tests but can’t figure out what’s wrong. It doesn’t generate any errors. Our demo works fine, so I suppose the problem with your prestashop installation or server configuration. consider to enable Opcache in your server.

Something else is funny

When I am on category page like:
https://eenhoorn.eu/nl/koffie/

And I add 1 product to shop
Then after i get the screen that it was added to cart, i press ‘continue shopping’ then after a few seconds the url changes
It changes to a product page:
https://eenhoorn.eu/nl/koffie/aeropress-coffeemaker

does this have something to do with being slow?

1. You have three stores, and each has the same “slow response” problem?
2. There is no such issue in our demo, maybe you have some module what do that url redirection? Does other stores has the same problem?

I have one other store active, that one is for wholesale only.
This store has a different problem with the add to cart function, it does not show that a product is in the shopping cart

Do you have a license for that 4th store? We can’t support unlimited stores quantity

We only have two stores with content. The other stoes were prepared for future use but they will probably not be used in coming year.

No not the fourth store but we had the store on a test-site before, with different URL. Then we moved it to current location, but with a different temp URL. Since one month the site is now live. It has always been the same main store with one small store for wholesale.

we have found several things that made the shop slow (too many cart-rules!, the op caching indeed) the eenhoorn.eu is now doing good regarding speed.

I still have this issue/problem in the other shop:

the add to cart function, it does not show that a product is in the shopping cart
