Ticket #16094 - Products in the same category Module

Good morning, I have a problem with the module “Products in the same category”, and another theme (Panda) in my multistore.
The developer of the other theme says that the module is not the native prestashop and is not compatible with the theme.
I copy the developer’s message and the problem:

Problem: Since the Alysum theme was installed the product module fails in the same category. attached screenshot

Message from the developer of the Panda theme:

The module is from the Alysum theme, that isn’t compatible with my theme, please use Prestashop native one instead.

When we empty the cache of dev.mayorista-ropa.es works ok, but after a few minutes the error begins.we attach screenshot when we empty cache

Why don’t you uninstall it?

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 10:34

We didn’t uninstall it because we used that module in both themes.
That’s why we ask you if Alysum uses a different module than the native prestashop and if it works well with the native.
We want that functionality

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 10:37

try ti install native module, and I’ll check it out in case some problems

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 10:39

You know how I can install native?

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 10:46

Try just an upgrade option https://take.ms/3K0MB

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 10:50

In my BO is updated to 1.0.4

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 10:56

and what is the problem now?

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 10:59

I don’t understand the question.
Don’t change anything. This is how it is since I installed the Alysum theme.

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 11:00

you have native module now, it don’t understand what I can do more

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 11:04

Please read from the beginning of the ticket.
I did not update the Module at any time.
And the programmer of the other topic says that this module is not the native one.
That’s why I ask you if this module is modified by you or if it’s native!

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 11:05
The developer of the other theme says that the module is not the native prestashop and is not compatible with the theme.

but you just installed native module

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 11:07

I didn’t just do anything.

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 11:07

That’s why I’m asking you how to install the native module!

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 11:08

you send me the screenshot where I see you have updated native module developed by prestashop, please read carefully

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 11:11

I sent you the capture of the module I have installed.

I DO NOT UPDATE IT - That’s how it was

You sent a photo for me to update. But that’s not from my BO. In my BO I didn’t ask to update.

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 11:14

That doesn’t matter.
Here is screenshot from YOUR BACK OFFICE https://take.ms/XHWaX as you ca see you have installed native module.

Alexandro Galussio 06 Nov 2019, 11:17

Okay, I’ll talk to the Panda developer to inform him that the module isn’t from Alysum.

Thank you

Marek 06 Nov 2019, 12:01

you are welcome

Alexandro Galussio 11 Nov 2019, 11:24

Good morning, the programmer of the other topic stated that the problem is with his topic. Attached is a screenshot saying that’s not what the Panda theme does.

Do you know what’s wrong?

Thank you

I’ll send you two screenshots of what’s going on.
b-cache: I remove cache from Panda
a-cache: Remove Cache from Alysum

Why when I erase Alysum’s cache affects Panda?
If I deactivate the cache and CCC also happens.

Marek 11 Nov 2019, 16:15

The theme doesn’t manage any cache, that is a question of prestashop. I have no idea what’s wrong there. As you can see in the back office you have native prestashop module, not ours

Alexandro Galussio 12 Nov 2019, 12:50

There are no overrides?

Marek 12 Nov 2019, 12:54

How we can override templates from another template? It’s impossible.
But in our theme you can find override in the folder /themes/alysum/modules/ps_categoryproducts
