Ticket #16475 - reCAPTCHA

Recently I faced an attack from a spam that creates new customers.

I unstalled a module for reCAPTCHA.
How I can connect this module to venedor theme
In the module suggests For classic theme: body#authentication #login-form .form-group:last

As I know you just need to install a module and it should work, what problem do you have?

Dimitrios Koumatzidis 19 Dec 2019, 15:40

The module I installed was did not work with your theme.
The developer suggested that venedor theme is very different from classic theme and he can not connect the module to your theme
The module is from
https://www.inno-mods.io/prestashop-addons/advanced-google-recaptha-v2-invisible-recaptcha/ Can you adjust the module to venedor?

Please give me a link to a page where it should appear

Dimitrios Koumatzidis 20 Dec 2019, 17:12

Did you do something? It seems that it is dispayed at log in page.
It is not appeared at homepage at small window ( register) and at footer of home page at contact box

Can we move the register (or login) button which is placed at top bar of homepage to the right?
Now when the window opens a customer cannot log in bcz the window is in front of product image and the zoom lens do not allow customers to fill the boxes.

The only thing I did is enabled captcha module, because it was disabled, then I didn’t find it in your store and asked - where it should appear

Merry Christmas Fred,

The module developer told me that the log in and register are custom fields that appear at top bar in the theme. As a result the module can not appear in these custom fields.
The same situation is for the footer bar where I placed a contact form.

Can you add recaptcha module appering in the home page?

Happy and healthy new year.

Thank you!
Happy New year to you too!
As for the problem, yes that is a custom forms. I’ll try to make your captcha works but on 2 January, if it’s not critical

Dimitrios Koumatzidis 30 Dec 2019, 18:04

No, it is not critical

Thanks in advance.

Happy new year

Hi, Dimitrios.
it seems works now

Dimitrios Koumatzidis 04 Jan 2020, 20:09

Thanks a lot.
Yes it works for for contact at home page. Can you add this at login and register custom- pop up field at top bar?

It will not work in this way. To add a captcha to any place you just need to add the following element

<div id="contactRecaptcha"></div>

The problem here is that it’s not valid to have two the same ID at one page, as a result you will have working only one captcha. You can check out your contact page to see it in action http://koumatzidis.gr/el/επικοινωνήσετε-μαζί-μας
