Ticket #16648 - The "Newsletter Form" module of the page builder is not sending confirmation emails
Hi, we have 2 ways to subscribe to the newsletter on the website. First we have a pop-up wich is working fine. And then we have a newsletter form on the Home
The thing is this module doesn’t send any confirmation mail. I attach screenshots of the module and configuration.
Kind regards

Hi, Jaime.
Please try now, it should work https://take.ms/kY9in
Hi, the verification link is not working. It seems like the {verif_url} is not defined
Attachments:
verif_url.JPG(4.6 KiB)verif_url2.JPG(12.2 KiB)That’s strange, because there is the same function used to send verification email as in the native module ps_emailsubscriptions, and email templates are taken from that module as well. I’m not able to try to register once more because my email is already registered
Now you should be able to register. I have deleted the registered email addresses
I suppose that’s just an error in the email template.
That is a confirmation email, and the verification link should not be there. I have renamed email templates folder /themes/venedor/modules/ps_emailsubscription/mails to force using original email templates
I have marked the option to only send the verification email. Verification emails are not being sent.
There it is assumed that the {verif_url} would have to work, but I am not receiving anything.
Hi.
Again I need to remove my email but don’t see it in the list https://take.ms/GCGgY
How did you removed my email before?
I removed the mail directly on the database
Now you should be able to register
I have reviewed the code of the module and didn’t find out any problem, it should work like native prestashop module Email Subscriptions.
Please try to use that module instead of widget and let me know the result
Don’t worry, we have finally decided to use the native PrestaShop module in the footer. This way it works
Thank you
