Ticket #16815 - 500 Error when installing 1.6 version
Attempted to upload and install theme but received 500 error on site. Had to switch back to Warehouse theme. I’ve uploaded all admin details. Thank you.

Hi, J H.
Just a question first. Don’t you want to try Prestashop 1.7?
Prestashop 1.6 is no longer supported and updated by Prestashop Team after October 2018.
Fred,
I would love to upgrade but think it would honestly be too cumbersome with all of the modules I have accumulated (not that I need them all). If there were an update that could do everything easily…then yes. I have honestly thought about leaving Prestashop completely and going to a more evolving platform like Shopify.
Jonathan
I have enabled the theme. But there are a lot of conflicts between different modules. Please disable all modules which you are not going to use
Fred,
I noticed during theme installation, you could disable all MODULES unrelated to Asylum. Was that done? I just checked the site and it is all over the place and product pages do not work, example: https://www.flyclothing.com/mens/rock-and-roll-tees/bob-dylan-silhouette-fitted-jersey-tee.html
FEATURED ITEMS - TWICE ON PAGE
HOMEMODULE - THREE MODULES ON TWO DIFFERENT LINES
ICONS MISSING IN FOOTER
BACKGROUND IMAGE BLEEDING THROUGH TOP

Back office works incredibly slow, I have to wait a couple of minutes to disable just one module. Could you please disable all module of ITIQ developer?
I can do that now but is there an option to disable modules before installing Asylum? I thought I saw that.
Jonathan
those modules has been checked to be disabled, but because of conflicts during theme activation that was not finished correctly
Ok, I have manually gone through and disabled them. Can it be setup properly now as displayed here? https://alysum5.promokit.eu/complex/en/
Thanks Fred.
That is a link to Prestashop 1.7 demo. I can only make one of these 1.6 demo http://alysum.promokit.eu/selector/
It sure is beautiful! :) Ok, the 1.6 demo is just as good in classic. Please setup. Thank you. Also, do you have link to the messenger module I can buy?
Thank you.
Jonathan
You do not have the rights to update the pk_fullpageslider module. Please make sure you are logged in to the PrestaShop Addons account that purchased the module
I have configured Classic demo, please check it out
Fred,
Thank you! Did you see my message below. When I click on some of the mods, it says I dont have rights to update. In addition, it looks like some of the modules listed in the theme are not installed, specifically Facebook likebox.
1. The rights to update a module is not manageable by the theme. I have no idea what to advice you here.
2. I have enabled Facebook Like Box, try to add your APP ID. Hope it still works
Fred,
Thanks for the update. I’ll check with Prestashop why this is suddenly happening with this module theme and nothing else.
Found a couple of other issues.
1. Socialize with us… code puts a “#!” in link causing it not to work. https://twitter.com/#!/flyclothing 2. Email no longer working to customer or admin
3. Modules keep disabling in theme even though enable under modules.
4. Customer messages are missing message.
5. New Product list is not newest products. Seems to be using old store data.
6. Become a VIP member doesnt work when entering email.
1. I can’t find it. Could you please give me a link?
2. How I can see that?
3. Which modules?
4. Where I can see a Customer Message?
5. Are you talking about home page carousel?
6. Yes, I see. In progress…
Morning Fred,
1. I gave you this link. Its on the home page within the socialize with us block.
2. Place order or signup for customer account.
3. Enable all promo mods and then go to theme. It should show them still disabled.
4. Use contact form to send message and I’ll post image.
5. Yes, home page carousel.
6. Thank you.
Jonathan
1. Fixed
2. It seems to work https://take.ms/bqjdq
3. Sorry, but I don’t understand. Please give me a module name
4. I have tried to use original theme’s code from the file /themes/default-bootstrap/contact-form.tpl and the same issue appears. So, I’m not sure that is a theme’s problem. Try to disable captcha just for a test
5. As I can see it shows right products https://take.ms/0IiBs
6. Fixed
Fred,
Thanks for the updates. How do I modify the email templates? Is there documentation?
1. Thank you.
2. Order emails and customer contact emails are not working. Seems account creation emails are ok.
3. Issue seems to be ok.
4. Disable captcha. Try now.
5. The correct new products are displayed here: https://www.flyclothing.com/new-products They do not match front page.
6. Thank you!
Jonathan
2 and 4. Doesn’t works with disabled captcha and with original contact page source code. I’m not sure that is a theme’s problem, looks like a platform or server issue.
5. Try this option https://take.ms/cBvS8
Fred,
Thanks for the reply.
In regards to contact form and order emails, both were fine prior to adding/changing theme template. I’ve changed nothing on the backend to cause those items not to work but I guess I can check.
The option you suggested in 5. is already set that way. That module is not pulling the new products correctly. I remember a similar issue with Warehouse when I originally bought it also. The newest products that should be showing are on the page link I sent you. I will probably have to remove the module from homepage and find another that will display products properly as added.
Jonathan
do you have some additional cache enabled? I make changes in the module file but nothing was changed in the from page.
Fred,
Yes, there is an express cache module, which is also in shortcut menu. I just refreshed it and didnt see any changes in new products display. At this point dont worry about further changes. I have found that multiple items are not working and its best I find another template. Thank you for all the work.
