Ticket #16833 - Módulo JoliSearch : advanced visual search - Compatibility

I need to buy a more complete search module and the module programmer tells me to talk to you about it.

(I want to know if it will work in any way)

The developer tells me:
as your amp module uses its own search bar, we can’t guarantee that Jolisearch will work in AMP mode.
You should ask the developer of your amp module.

Thanks

Yes, your developer is right.
Any third party module is not compatible with AMP by default. To make it work with AMP we have to extend AMP module what requires some time.

But if I buy the module it can be done? How long can it take?

Fred 17 Feb 2020, 17:05

Unfortunately, we don’t have time for such custom works.

If you have a module, just add it through Header Builder and that’s it

Alexandro Galussio 19 Feb 2020, 11:54

I already have the module and it works on the desktop. But I’m asking for it to work on amp

Fred 19 Feb 2020, 11:56

I understand, but we don’t have time now for customisation works

Alexandro Galussio 19 Feb 2020, 12:43

And can you give an idea of how to do it?

Fred 22 Feb 2020, 14:15

You can keep using default search in AMP or disable AMP

Alexandro Galussio 25 Feb 2020, 18:43

Yeah, that’s what I had to do, but I’m asking for options to make it work on amp.
The developer showed me amp websites that work with the module. That’s why he told me to talk to the theme support

I understand, but that requires additional development. Can you give me a link where I could see an example?
