Ticket #17143 - AMP Url Setting
I had a doubt. I changed the Main URL Slug field to mobile. I think it is AMP by default. Would it be better to put the AMP url back? This is to improve seo and to avoid some errors in the search console.
Comments
you can change it, no problem
so can you confirm that it is better to leave amp by default?
I have no idea what is better, sorry
Thanks. I entered the default AMP URL. Now when will it update? because it is still not navigable. The mobile url remains navigable
Strange, it worked fine before.
Maybe you have some module what manage URLs?
no, the link www.dedecouture.com/amp is not reachable. Even though I changed the url slug it still works www.dedecouture.com/mobile
I just make a test in our demo and localhost and everything works fine. The problem definitely is with your configuration, maybe some cache or a module what manage URLs
same problem with the blog module. I changed the url from blog to vintage-blog but it doesn’t update. How can I understand what the problem is?
I wrote you above what you have to check
Okay, I read but I don’t have any form that configures urls. I don’t understand what it could be.
I can’t say you for sure what’s wrong. Try to disable third party module you have installed earlier. Especially redirection modules
nothing there is no way to solve the problem. I have disabled all the plugins but nothing. I have reset amp setting and nothing, for now i kept “mobile” url slug for AMP. But I need to change the blog url from blog to vintage-blog.
I just installed fresh prestashop with the theme just to show you how it works. Please check out me screen record https://take.ms/Nt49l
Please try to uninstall “Reinderizzamenti 301, 302, 303 di URL - SEO " module and try to change the url once more
Nothing. I uninstalled the 301 module but nothing.
Try to reset “Friendly url” option.
Go to Shop Parameters → Traffic & SEO, turn off “Friendly url” option, then turn it on
Nothing…I clear cache later and nothing
I spent much time on that with now result.
As I showed you before all works fine by default. You can try yourself to install fresh prestashop and change the url you will see it works
It can help you that the site was previously located in a subdirectory. First was on www.dedecouture.com/sviluppo
