Ticket #17784 - Support will expiring in 2 days

Hi Fred,

i see you released the 5.5.0 version and is great.
I still check file by file all the modification.

Why you continue to change the module name from pk_something to pksomething?
Is confusing and people will find out to have the old pk_module installed with the new one pkmodule too

based on my check from previous verison people need to delete:

modules to delete
-----------------------
pk_popup
pk_sizeguide
pk_themesettings
pk_customlinks

I noticed also my support will expire in 2 days and i’ve no time to check and give you feedback on the new version.

Is possible to extend the support for more time? I think i gave you tons of feedbacks & patch and language fix (full italian translation) to improve your theme, maybe i deserve extra time? :)

Anyway my last AMP patch for grouping features and new styles to make it more redable are not there.

All the fix we did in the previous version seems in 5.5.0 but i’d no time to check everything yet.

Have anice weekend.

Marco

1. Why you continue to change the module name from pk_something to pksomething? - it’s necessary to get clear translations through back office. we don’t need to remake modules with no reason.
2. Is possible to extend the support for more time? - you have created so many tickets that we need a month to reply on each of them. But we will do that even with expired support

1. that is understandable, but the automatic update remove the pervious px_ version in favor of the pkmodule version?
Last time i have updated i find out the theme completed broken cause the double modules-

2. thank you… i will test 5.5.0 and report if something will not work.

we can’t delete modules because there can be sensitive users data. A customer has to uninstall old modules yourself.
