Ticket #18237 - Unable to run online chat script
Hello,
I am trying hard with Tidio support to run their script for online chat on my website without any luck.
I did as they suggested and as they usually do that, I installed HTML box module, inserted their single line script and turned off HTML purifier. But it does not work.
Any idea what can be blocking the script?
Thanks,
Rado

Hi, Radoslav. Why do you think that is a theme’s issue.
Try to add that script line directly to a file
Hi Fred,
Do you mean footer.tpl? I tried but it did not work for me. Maybe I did not place it in a right place in the code? I saw there are more than one footer.tpl files but of course I placed it in the one within a theme folder.
I do not know.
Footer.tpl is a right file.
You can also try this one: /themes/alysum/templates/_partials/javascript.tpl
That is not theme’s issue
In case you are willing to help, I want to use SmartSupp instead of Tidio mentioned at the beginning of this conversation (it has no Czech localization). There are 2 options with SmartSupp, a module or a piece of code. You can find the module installed. Login credentials are the following.
Username: info@goodtea.eu
Password: s-martSUP!20
Thanks.
Hi, Radoslav.
I replaced your Tidio chat to SmartSupp or you want have 2 chats on your site?
No, only the SmartSupp app. Thanks.
I am just testing it. Any idea how to make the chat box correctly localized? I mean if my selected language is English, the chat box should be displayed in English. If my selected language is Czech, it should be displayed in Czech… automatically.
Thanks.
I’ve added a localization for your chat
Could you check it?
Looks good. Thanks.
How much do I owe you?
30 Euro. Do you need a new invoice?
yes, please
Here is it

Thank you.
Thank you very much
Hi,
For some reason, the chat window stopped switching languages. It is always Czech now.
Can you please check what is wrong?
Thank you,
Rado
as I can see that’s caused by one of your module. try to disable one by one you third party modules
I have disabled all modules installed recently without any luck. The problem still exists.
Can you dig deeper and let me know which module might be in conflict?
Thanks a lot!
again something wrong with back office https://take.ms/UcJ1p
Yes, we had some cache related technical issues on the website but it is accessible again.
I just checked, there are no any options in that module. I have no idea what’s wrong with that
It was implemented by your colleague and I guess he used SmartSupp API to make it work. Can he check it?
Ok, I see, I’ll ask him
thanks
Hello Radoslav!
The script responsible for multilanguage has been commented out.
I was fixed it and now it working fine.
You can find the script in next path: /themes/alysum/templates/_partials/javascript.tpl
If you will plan to increase the number of languages on your site, you should expand the script here
Hi Marek,
Who could comment it out? I did not do it.
Terrible. There are ghosts in my e-shop.
Thanks a lot!
you are welcome
