Ticket #19028 - Mobile site on desktop

Google has referenced our mobile website and not desktop. So when the user find ouilo on google they reach on ouilo.com/mobile
We need to redirect desktop users to desktop version and not on mobile version as same as it does from desktop to mobile.
please check google search via this link : https://www.google.com/search?q=ouilo&oq=ouilo&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j35i39j0l2j69i60l4.1743j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Also please check the attach image.

Hi, Aumare.
Yes Google gives higher priority for AMP websites. You can try to enable “Add noindex tag” in the AMP settings

Hello Fred, the fix of this issue is that when i reach mobile site from desktop it should automatically redirect to desktop version as like your theme already do from desktop to mobile.
1. On desktop if user visits : https://ouilo.com/mobile it should redirect to =⇒ https://ouilo.com/ 2. On mobile if user visits : https://ouilo.com it redirect to =⇒ https://ouilo.com/mobile/

First case doesn’t work but second works. Can you please fix the first case ? Thanks.

that’s because google gives you cached website version what hosted on their server and we are not able to change that.

Hello Fred, as much as i know if you go on this link : https://ouilo.com/mobile from desktop then there is a way to redirect on desktop version. Right ? That’s what i am suggesting

Fred 07 Sep 2020, 18:47

yes, right, but google display the cached website page which is hosted on their server and only when you click on some link there you will be redirected you your website

Aumare Javed 09 Sep 2020, 13:34

Yes Fred :-). This is what i am talking about please. Can you fix this ?

Fred 09 Sep 2020, 18:32

how can I fix google’s behaviour? :)

Aumare Javed 09 Sep 2020, 19:06

i don’t want you to change google behavior but the theme one. If someone visits ouilo.com/mobile/ from desktop i want the user to be redirected to ouilo.com please.
