Ticket #20176 - Google maps: google place instead of coordinates

Hi,
is there a way to show a place instead of positions by coordinates?
My client has a Google My Business account with a registered place and I like to show that in the map instead of a generic pin. I noticed that google API allow this but didn’t succeed to find the code to be changed among modules or js libraries.

Furthermore I included the Google Map Widget in the footer, using Footer Builder, but, although the map is correctly centered no position is pointed (no pin showed). I would like to show the google place in that widget as well.

The website is at https://www.telonimassaro.it/lit17/

Please help.

Thank you.
Antonio

Hi, Antonio Pedone.
As I can see now you have some city on your map and looks like that is what you wanted to do https://take.ms/PKsog

Did you find a solution?

Hi, Fred.
No, that’s not what I want to do.
The exact center of the widget you captured is where my client’s firm is situated. As you can see there’s no pin to indicate it. That’s an issue. Usually in every google maps you see a pin that points the coordinates one has entered, just as it happens in my contact page. Here instead you see nothing.
What I’d like to have is a map showing a box at the entered coordinates with the details of the location, as in the attachment.
In case this is not possible, a pin would be ok.
By the way, could you tell me please where is the code for the map widget?
Thank you
Antonio

There is no such option, unfortunately
The file you need is

/modules/pkthemesettings/views/js/front.min.js

Uncompressed version is /modules/pkthemesettings/views/js/front.js
