Ticket #20512 - Custom CSS changes not being reflected
I’m making some customizations on the theme through the “Customer CSS” tab of the Theme Settings.
When I try to make CSS changes to some of the elements in the theme, these changes are not reflected in the frontend after 24 hours.
I have disabled the cache, both in Prestashop and in the server side. I have the latest version of Prestashop and Alysum installed.
Any idea why this might happen?

Hi, Antonio Barroso Díaz.
There are two possible reasons
1. wrong CSS code
2. cache issue
But that definitely not the theme problem.
Send me your code, I’ll check it out
Hi Fred, Thanks in advance. Attached to this message, you will find a file with the CSS code.

custom_css.css(4.8 KiB)I can’t check out every piece of code, so I have selected one line and as I can see it works, see the screenshot https://take.ms/PILkz
Whenever I apply a change it works properly. The problem is that sometimes it takes longer than it should. It can even take hours.
Since I am making so many changes, it is possible that it was because I had some part of my code wrong. And that I have corrected it in some of the latest changes.
I will keep watching and if I notice anything strange again I will let you know.
Thank you very much for your prompt response.
Kind regards!
you are welcome.
Maybe you have some external cache service like Cloudflare?
Hello again Fred. I don’t have any external cache service. It just happened again. I have modified the CSS in Theme Settings, but the changes are not displaying in the frontend. Attached is a screenshot.
I just added test_class to the customer CSS and it just works with no problem https://take.ms/YW8ZG
Ok, in this case it has to be coding issue on my side. I will check all the code. Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience!
no problem
