Ticket #20753 - Ruined images

Hi, suddenly in the desktop version all the images got ruined and distorted. I tried to import them again, but as soon as they are imported they get ruined. Everything is ok in the AMP version for smartphones.

Hi, Gianni Ciolfi.
As I can see you are using google page speed module. Please try to disable or even uninstall it
That is definitely not theme’s issue

Gianni Ciolfi 13 Feb 2021, 22:49

No, google page speed module is not installed.

Fred 13 Feb 2021, 23:07

Please look at image url to see that page speed module is enabled https://take.ms/Vap6D

That is definitely not theme’s issue but your cache

Gianni Ciolfi 13 Feb 2021, 23:09

You have my credentials, you can log in and see that there is no page speed module installed.

Gianni Ciolfi 13 Feb 2021, 23:15

Please help me to understand why I don’t find this module even inside the files in my hosting space.

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 17:18

I’ve removed every doubt both from the hosting and from Cloudflare from which anyway to avoid any error I’ve disconnected. The problem happens when I import the images, they immediately become 100×100. You have to help me

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 17:23

Seems when you had that cache module enabled it cropped images. Please try to upload your images once more

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 19:05

I have already reloaded the images 4/5 times, but as you can see it still doesn’t work!

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 19:49

Please make sure you have disabled page speed module in your server configuration as well

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 19:51

There is no speed module installed!

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 19:52

it’s impossible. Some module changed the image url. Could you please ask your hosting provider why it happened?

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 19:53

I already talked to them all day yesterday and half a day today! There is no module installed, either on prestashop or server, that can do this.

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 19:55

Look, you are only one who has this problem. No one never had it earlier. The problem is 100% in your server configuration.
Do you have an option to install the theme locally just for a test?

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 19:59

No, I wouldn’t know how

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 20:14

Please help me, I’ve been stoppin’ marketing and visibility for days now.

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 20:16

Why does the AMP version on mobile work perfectly?

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 20:16

I have no idea how. The issue is not related to the theme. Please look carefully at image URL and you will see the page speed module trace.
there should be direct link you your image without any changes.
AMP is separated module

Here is the answer of TMD Hosting’s technicians:

Hello,

Thank you for your update.

We have reviewed thoroughly the situation and we would like to inform you that have detected the Page Builder module for your website

If you consider that it was caused by this module, you can disable it for your Prestashop.

/home/bacipicc/public_html/modules

ls -la | grep pspagebuilder
drwxr-xr-x 9 bacipicc bacipicc 215 Feb 14 16:21 pspagebuilder

While we do poses expertise with Prestashop, it is more geared towards making sure that the server environment is geared towards the application.

Our expertise does extend to in depth customization of the application itself, you would need to contact a developer who would be able to further assist you with this.

Please, do not hesitate to contact us again if we could be of any further assistanc

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 21:00

I really want to help.
Please ask them why the image URL is broken - https://take.ms/Nylip

and why there is “pagespeed” appears in the URL? you didn’t upload an image with that name, I’m sure

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 21:38

Here is TMD Hosting’s answer:

Thank you for your update.

As previously explained, it appears to be related to the code of the application, which is not our area of expertise.

Considering the above, we would advise you to contact an experienced web developer for further assistance on the matter as it is not a hosting related issue.

Please, do not hesitate to contact us again if we could be of any further assistance!

There are no any piece code in the module what doing that. The module does not rename uploaded images

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 21:42

Here is an example of clear URL https://take.ms/kWUBF what you can see in our demo.
Write you once more, you are only one who reported such error. It causes by your server, that’s 100%

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 23:05

TMD technicians continue to blame the issue. I don’t know what to do, you’re bouncing responsibility and I’m still stuck with the site not working.

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 23:08

I offer you the following trick, upload your images manually into the folder /modules/pspagebuilder/views/img to avoid image processing by server scripts. Then you will be able to select original images

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 23:15

Look if I open the folder you told me and look at the images, inside the folder they are all good, they are not ruined.

Fred 14 Feb 2021, 23:17

but the link is ruined. there is nothing in the module what can add “pagespeed” take into the link. That could be done with some cache or security module in your server.

That is not our problem. You are only one who have it what confirm that your server causes the problem. Just install it locally or on another server to make sure in that

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 23:19

Now I’m going to try to upload an image directly into the folder you told me

Gianni Ciolfi 14 Feb 2021, 23:29

I’m sorry but even if I upload them directly to the folder inside the server, the images are still ruined. The solution you gave me doesn’t work

Fred 15 Feb 2021, 11:30

I need access to your server through FTP

Gianni Ciolfi 15 Feb 2021, 13:32

I have config in my profile.

Fred 15 Feb 2021, 16:05

Unable to connect

Gianni Ciolfi 15 Feb 2021, 16:19

Can I write here credential?

Fred 15 Feb 2021, 18:15

Better to update your profile, there is a safe place

Gianni Ciolfi 15 Feb 2021, 18:16

Can I write here credential?

Gianni Ciolfi 15 Feb 2021, 18:22

Update. It’s an SFTP connection
Port its 16969

Gianni Ciolfi 16 Feb 2021, 09:11

Hi, I even changed server, migrated the site to a new hosting but the problem of corrupted and distorted images remains. At this point I also think that the problem is in the theme

Gianni Ciolfi 16 Feb 2021, 09:52

Sorry, now that the site is pointing to the new server it’s ok. You were right, it was the fault of the TMD server.

Fred 16 Feb 2021, 09:53

I’m glad it finally works

Gianni Ciolfi 16 Feb 2021, 09:55

Now I have a question for you, how do I change the fonts on the left menu? (CATEGORIA - MARCA - PREZZO ETC?)

Fred 16 Feb 2021, 10:25

Theme settings β†’ General, see “Headings Font” option

Gianni Ciolfi 16 Feb 2021, 10:51

ok

Gianni Ciolfi 16 Feb 2021, 10:57

Does not change

Fred 16 Feb 2021, 13:47

Please make sure you have disabled CSS smarty cache while you configuring your website

Gianni Ciolfi 16 Feb 2021, 14:34

I can only change the font, I can’t change the size or whether to make it bold or regular or lowercase or uppercase.

Gianni Ciolfi 16 Feb 2021, 16:02

I can only change the font, I can’t change the size or whether to make it bold or regular or lowercase or uppercase.

Fred 16 Feb 2021, 22:28

Try following CSS code

.facet .facet-title {font-size:15px;line-height:1em;}
Gianni Ciolfi 25 Feb 2021, 20:42

The site don’t work!!!

Gianni Ciolfi 25 Feb 2021, 20:51

It seems to be a problem created by AMP. There is a message on Google Search Console that says:
Using CSS !important qualifier is not allowed.

Fred 25 Feb 2021, 21:01

The issue has been fixed. Please test to confirm the change

Gianni Ciolfi 25 Feb 2021, 21:04

Yes it works now. What was the problem?

Fred 25 Feb 2021, 21:05

removed !important from AMP css

Gianni Ciolfi 25 Feb 2021, 21:06

Is it possible for the problem to recur? On Google Search Console it tells me that the problem always exists.

Fred 25 Feb 2021, 21:09

google doesn’t work so fast, give it a time

Gianni Ciolfi 25 Feb 2021, 21:10

Okay. But why had this problem arisen? Can it come back?

Fred 25 Feb 2021, 21:12

no it can’t come back

Gianni Ciolfi 25 Feb 2021, 21:20

Ok

Gianni Ciolfi 25 Feb 2021, 23:01

Hi, now the whatsapp button has disappeared!

Fred 26 Feb 2021, 10:13

Go to Facebook module β†’ WhatsApp and enable it
