Ticket #22285 - Issues after upgrade 7.1.0

I encountered 2 problems after updating the site to version 7.1.0

1. Home Page:
The site no longer displays the content of the homepage (img_01) built with the page builder (img_02)

2. Blog posts:
When I try to update the blog post texts I get this error: “An error occurred while updating. Simpleblog_post (Unknown column ‘gallery_style’ in ‘field list’)” (img_03). Although the text in the change dashboard is updated (note the space between the apostrophe and the letter “o” in img_04), it is not changed on the website (img_05).

1. Fixed. Updated file is /htdocs/themes/alysum/templates/layouts/layout-both-columns.tpl
2. Looks like a problem with backward compatibility. We can only report the problem to the module developer https://codecanyon.net/item/blog-for-prestashop/6717465

You can also reset the module. It should fix the problem

Thanks for the answer Fred, and for solving problem 1. For problem 2, in case I reset the form, would the currently published posts be deleted?

Now I’ve run into problem number 3 :-P if I can still take advantage of you… I installed the Elementor module (really fantastic!) But I can’t edit the pages, when I try to click the “edit with creative elements” button this screen, that I attach to the message, appears. Can you help me solve this problem?

Problem 4:

Global Typography are broken, the titles and the menu are no longer in UPPERCASE. Why?

Fred 21 Sep 2021, 11:24

1. Yes, posts will be reseted
2. You have to select the hook defined in the Theme Settings → Home Page - https://take.ms/w6bTk

3. That’s because typography moved from Theme Settings to the widget settings. As for the menu, for example, go to Elementor and edit header layout, there you will find menu widget where you can change typography

Thanks a lot Fred! Now i’m going to check all your tips :D

You are welcome!

Problem 2.
“2. You have to select the hook defined in the Theme Settings → Home Page - https://take.ms/w6bTk

My problem is not with Home, but with other simple pages, Elementor doesn’t work from Design → Pages → Edit with Creative Elements

try now, it should work

Alessandro Acciardi 21 Sep 2021, 13:30

Hi, i’m Cristian, a colleague of Alessandro.
The site still doesn’t display neither the Creative Elements module content (hooked to displayHomeBuilder) nor the old Layout Builder homepage content.
Also, when editing with Creative Elements Content Anywhere, it shows some some contents below the footer (testimonial and blog posts i think). I think it’s because there is a “page_content_container” below the “displayFooterBuilder” hook.
About the typography, we are still using the header and footer from the old Layout Builder module (and they are showing correctly on the site as you can see).
We have found the Creative Elements oldstyle-header template settings but it isn’t active or used at all, so i think the old builder theme settings should still works for the header and footer.
How can we correctly show the Creative Elements contents across the site?
Is there a way to fix the typography while using the old header and footer from Layout Builder?

Hi, Cristian
1. Home page works fine now
2. Footer, - need some time for investigation
3. We do not recommend to use both modules Page Builder and Creative elements at the same time due to low performance. We recommend to disable Page builder module at all
