Ticket #22334 - MultiShop with 2 Languages
I want to make a multishop with 2 languages and two different domains.
Prestashop has a multishop function out of the box.
Is Alysum compatible with that function?
If yes is there a way to make a language selector for example with flags?
Comments
Hi, Kurt Kip.
Of course the theme supports such essentials features of prestashop like multistore and multlanguage.
1. Make sure you have at least two languages enabled in your back office
2. If you are using Creative Elements to build your header, go to Creative Elements, find your header layout and there find the widget “Header Items” where you can enable languages
Ahh ok i understand i would need it only for custom code for keeping them after updates.
The Layout will be for both stores the same but they will have a other logo and maybe slight different colors on the page.
How can i achieve that? :)
you just need to make a copy of layout and edit it for the second shop
How can i make a copy of a layout? :)
See he screenshot

Just for the record if anyoneelse encounters the same.
You have to turn on elements settings viewed on frontend.
After that a little purple burge menu symbol will pop up on the right corner.
A screenshot how to turn it on.
