Ticket #22425 - Reopen ticket 22138 - problem again after upgrade theme
Please reopen ticket 22138.
There I had the blank homepage issue when using Content Anywhere.
When I do a theme upgrade to 7.1.0 the issue is not fixed and appears again.
I think you did not incorporate the modifications you made.
When I copy the modified files from the 7.0.1 release its solved.
Same thing all over again with update to 7.2.0. The issues appears again.
Can you please send me an update package with the modified files from ticket 22138.
Can you assure me that the modified files are part of the next theme release.
I starts to get annoying and we are running in circles.
Comments
You can download the latest update from your themeforest account.
As for the modified file, I have sent it to you yesterday
I think we misunderstand each other. I will quote the text form that ticket:
I tried Content Everywhere but no homepage is shown. These are the steps taken
1) On Theme Settings on tab Home Page set Home Page Template to - Hook “DisplayHomeBuilder” -
2) Opened Content Anywhere and clicked edit Home (position displayHome)
3) Choose correct language
4) Clicked Edit with Creative Elements button to edit
5) Clicked Add Template button and imported the Classic Homepage
6) All elements are loaded and shown.
Did the same thing for the other language
When I open Homepage only the header and footer are shown. Also the preivew page is empty.
I did a reset of the Creative Elements module
Homepage will not show.
YOUR SOLUTION
Update the module “pkelements” and file /templates/layouts/layout-both-columns.tpl
-
In the 7.2.0 release the modified “pkelements” module is not part of it. Therefore the homepage is blank.
Where I can see the issue? Right now your home page is working fine.
To fix the problem I need to see it
In my staging area https://staging1.vangeleuken.nl Credentials are in my profile
You seem to have enabled cache and I’m not able to login to disable it for a while
Cache wasn’t enabled.
Gave you the wrong credentials. My profile has been updated.
I suppose something wrong with FTP details, are they correct?
I have tried to edit theme files but no changes at all in the front page
FTP details are correct for my staging area.
The issue has been fixed.
Updated fil is /themes/alysum/templates/layouts/layout-both-columns.tpl
