Ticket #22658 - displayHomeBuilder not working

Hello,

We wish to create new pages, import templates and then associate them with a hook in elementor in order to not modify the templates each time.

displayHeaderBuilder does work, displayFooterBuilder too, but not displayHomeBuilder, which just does not show anything.
So we basically just have an header and a footer, with nothing between.

here is the link : www.gepmiramas.fr

Could you please help us?

Thanks in advance,
Alice & Chris

Hi Fred,
We updated the information.
Could you also please share with us what is wrong here and how to fix it? And not just fix it yourself?
Thanks a lot
Chris

Now it should work, see the screenshot https://take.ms/SXMeA

Hello
No, now we don't see anything anymore, neither the header home nor footer, blank page

I just modified the pages in Content anywhere in order to load templates, and the header and footer are working but still not the home template

Fred 25 Nov 2021, 18:01

Sorry, my bad. Please try now

Alice Thevin 25 Nov 2021, 18:02

Now it is showing but it is actually before the header
we are trying to figure out how you did the change

Alice Thevin 25 Nov 2021, 18:03

We have now one part of the header, then the homepage, then the second part of the header and then the footer

Fred 25 Nov 2021, 18:04

as I can see you have imported header into your footer layout

Alice Thevin 25 Nov 2021, 18:12

This is my bad, thanks for noticing, I updated every pages and it seems to be fine now, so we can basically modify the design of our pages from the "content anywhere" from creative elements and build our website like this, right?

Fred 25 Nov 2021, 18:14

Yes, right.
Another option is just to select a template from the list in the Theme Settings → Home Page/Header/Footer. But such layouts are not multilingual. So if you use a couple of languages use the first option

Alice Thevin 25 Nov 2021, 18:19

We prefer to create an arborescence and create our own page using your templates, so option 1 seems the best then, thanks
We still are not getting how to build menu, it does not show as we try to configure, etc, do you have documentation on how to build a website with your theme and modules? Videos or something?

Fred 25 Nov 2021, 18:23

First of all you have to create a "dropdown" layout in the Creative Elements → Saved Templates
Then just select it in the menu item settings.
You can find video tutorials in the documentation https://alysum5.promokit.eu/promokit/documentation/#idocs_menu There is a tutorial with old Page Builder module, but the logic is the same

Thanks a lot for the info

Also last thing, since we modified that, we can't "fast edit with creative elements" being on the website itself, as we can still for the header or the footer.

Is it possible to reactive this function please?

Thanks in advance

Fred 25 Nov 2021, 21:31

I can't find where to reactivate it. Could you please use it through back office for a while?

Alice Thevin 26 Nov 2021, 18:44

We will for a while, but could you please fix that asap? Thanks Fred it would be appreciated

Fred 26 Nov 2021, 18:52

Your website is not available for me more

Alice Thevin 26 Nov 2021, 19:14

It was under maintenance mode, I'll let it ON until the problem is fixed :-)

Fred 28 Nov 2021, 12:46

Back office is still not available for me - https://take.ms/nNdL8

Alice Thevin 29 Nov 2021, 11:42

Hi
I won't be working on the maintenance page until this bug and the other are fixed, so the shop is ON from now on, thanks
