Just saw, after manually translating what the Prestashop won’t auto generate (500 expressions), that the Theme is not responding to Prestashop settings….

Hi Fred, The language translation doesnt work all over the site also when we choose language as default, it change back to english when you click on a link.

As I can see you have translated the theme with no problem.
- To translate modules, you have to know what modules you added to the home page, for example this one in header https://take.ms/9aJzS is Header Items module
- To translate the content, see “Multilanguage Layouts Configuration” video tutorial in the theme documentation https://alysum5.promokit.eu/promokit/documentation/#page_builder
Yes i understand now, nice. ;) Still the page is not adjusting to the automatic language setting in Prestashop. Normally you set it under localization.
And we can’t seem to find how to translate the menu-2, the dropdown.
The theme doesn’t manage automatic language settings, that is a function of prestashop platform. The theme just display content received from prestashop.
As for menu, you need to have two layouts and select them for every language, see the screenshot https://take.ms/zWlsn

The payment stoped working again, what is it that makes the payment stop? Because we havent done anything to the payment.
We need to know how to fix in the future so we can fix it ourself insted of asking about it all the time.
Also the mobile version have some issue like when you click on a product you get only white screen and cant show the product.
Please make sure your payment methods configured properly. The most of errors comes from the configuration.
As for mobile version, that was compatibility problem with PHP 7.4 and now it should be fixed, please check it out
The payment option Klarna has already been installed, configured and tested. So that one we know works. So here is our issues at the moment:

The Product page is working now on mobile, thanks. - BUt when you click on the cart you go to the checkout page and not to the payment page, it must be the payment and not the checkout.
Ok about the AMP.
Now where ever you click on the site you get this error, please see attached file. That happened efter you fixed the product problem on mobile.
Also when not using AMP the languange button doesnt show on mobile even though its enabled.
We want to go live before Christmas. But it seems impossible now with all these problem….

PHP 7.4 brings a lot of problems. Despite a lot of testing we still find out different issues
Fred whats going on - you need to follow the cart all the way - Its still the same problem after you click the product.

We cant change language on mobile version because of that.
You have to enable Languages for the “Simple Header” selected in Theme Settings, see the screenshot https://take.ms/HMZKc (I already did that)

Fred, we found the problem and its your checkout module that need to be disabled. Can you please tell us where to disable it? Klarna is working fine but your checkout is also showing. We need to disable it not only hide it - Disable it.
This one the whole thing need to be disabled both on all the platforms. Desktop, mobile and so on…

Fred, the desktop changes we do dont show on the mobil verion. How to change the setting on mobil version? When AMP is disabled. Also we want to change URL of cart checkout where can we find the mobil code so we can do that? I mean if you look at the mobil version in creative elements it doesnt look the same on real mobil.

Yes, because you have enabled AMP module that has it’s own independent mobile design. Just disable AMP module if you don’t need it

But there is no another “mobile” version of the theme except AMP. If AMP is disable you have one URL on all devices
Please make sure the AMP module is disabled or even uninstall it

If you look in creative elmements for mobile version it doesnt look the same as it is on mobile live.
The changes we do for exampel changing URL for checkout that doesnt change on mobile version.
Also as I mentioned earlier the disgned you see for mobile version in CREATIVE elements doesnt look the same on mobile.
SO there is a problem with the changes doesnt follow to mobile version.

Fred, Now the menus doesnt works when you click on them, the cart disappears when you add products and that on mobile version. All that worked before the changes.

You need to continue in the menu click until you get to the submenu and try to click on the plus icon (+) it doesnt work and when you add product to cart and click continue shopping - the cart Icon disappears.

If you look at the mobile design before the code we wrote in custome css it looked really bad so we wrote that code but we want the menu icon to the far left and the cart with the search to far right on the same row with black background and with the menu icon and the cart and search white.

We cant because the prestashop checkout takes over in cart and we are using klarna checkout.
We did change the URL for checkout in desktop and it works fine with klarna.
We want to use the Simple header but the prestashop checkout takes over after you put products in cart and you click out from cart and clicks back to cart again the prestashop checkouts takes over.
Its really annoying we are way behind on everthing because of that. I mean you must have encounter this problem before that customers dont want to use prestashop checkout?? Fred we really bought your theme to speed up the launch but now it feels like a really big misstake and sorry for my language it seems we are fucked. the ceative elements doesnt allow us to change anything. As you mentioned it seems readonly.
If you can help us to change the checkout URL to the same URL as the cart on mobile version “With simple header enable” it will solve our problems. Otherwise we cant use the simple header. Or help us disable the prestashop checkout…. Prestashop never reply. Weve been trying to connect with them but NOTHING.
First of all that’s absolutely not a problem of the theme. You are modifying urls and changing prestashop behaviour. But the theme is just display different data and doesn’t manage any url routes and etc… There is no any problem to change the url in the simple header.
I just removed “checkout” button from simple header, there is no “checkout” link now in simple header

Fred - We talked about this earlier - Its not klarna checkout the problem. Its in prestashop with your theme - You are selling your theme with prestashop checkout.
Have you not ever have this problem with other customers? that Prestashop checkout taking over klarnas checkout or other payments methods?
Have you solved the JS problem for creative element that makes it readonly ?

99% of the problems we are having is because if you theme.
THere is NO prestashop checkout on classic it doesnt even show up - NOt on desktob or mobile.

Fred - nothing working on your theme. Klarnacheckout works perfect on classic all our images looks perfect on classic actually everything works perfect on classic - We bought your theme to speed up everything but that is not the case.

Its when you put product in cart and continue shoping and then click the cart and click checkout then insted of the klarna checkout it goes to your/prestashop checkout registration insted.
What I understand is that on your theme klarna doesnt overide the old checkout its not allowed or something. But on classic it seems it does override your/prestashops checkout and it works fine.

I tested on classic and all works fine. Changed back to Alysum and all the settings is back as before and mobile version not working any longer.
Klarna checkout works on mobile version after we changed the URL to cart URL. Also It works on mobile version if NOT AMP is enable. As long as AMP is enable it doesnt work.
But still the thing is that it works fine on classic. Som im sure its your theme making the problems. And I have no idea what is doing that.

Hide it will not solve the problem. Also you cant hide the checkout because then the customer cant checkout…..

Strange because it works fine in classic but not in your theme. Also we have the same image settings as shown in the link you sent. Still not its scales crazy bad.

Please make sure your source images (that you uploading to product) has the same ratio as defined in the Images Settings
It doesnt matter - Even if we change the size of the image it doesnt work. Same thing exactly same pictures are scaled on classic as they should but not in you theme.
It works on classic.
Because Classic theme has it’s own Images Settings. If you need the same images as in Classic just change Alysum theme images dimensions.
That is 100% not any problem of the theme. Every theme just display images but doesn’t manage them.
I changed the image size to medium_default Width 500px Height 650px but still not working - CLeard cash both in BO and webbrowser. All the image settings are as your default settings - Still not changing.
You have to regenerate images after changing settings.

Fred it doesnt work I changed the image size and still not working - Its seems that the theme container of the image wrong.
I cnanged the size of the image but the container didnt change. The image was small but still huge container. look at the attached picture.

Write you once more, the theme doesn’t manage (crop, cut, etc…) any images, that’s prestashop function.
Please make sure the image you uploading has the same dimension as you defined in the Images Settings
But how does the classic works fine without any changes for the uploading pictures - ALL the pictures have the same dimension as we have in your theme.
WE didnt do anything to the images in classic and it still show all the images exactly the same dimension but NOT on your theme.

yes it was, that image was if you look closer is not in use. That one I tried with after you told me to change our ratio. And I tried another one still not working.
Try change it yourself and you will see that its not working as you are saying. The whole shop have the same problem. The images are different size but still ALL showing VERY big all over the shop.
All the images have bigger images then when you click the zoom button. Try it you will see.

That is not the problem. The problem is that you CANT Change it to smaller - It should change automatically when you change the image settings (Thats why I hade the 500×500) and changed the image settings to 500×500 (clicked regenerate thumbnails) without any results more then the picture inside the container was smaller. - try to change the image settings you will see that it doesnt change att all - I also changed the image settings to 800×800 without any results at all.
In classic its 800×800 (the images settings) and all the pictures without changing any ratio on our images and it was perfect.
Look at the attached files. The whole shop have the same scale. all that on desktop. Not on mobile.

Amazing - The classic works fine and you are saying its not the theme again. without even testing what im telling you. If it wasnt your theme the problem why is it working on classic without any changes at all with our image settings - If it was customization issue it should at least change the changes we do in image setting. Its your theme that hinder all the changes we are doing, it has been like that from day one. -
try to solve the problem its on your end. At least do the changes and see by yourself. You are not looking as you should, your not looking at the images we are sending you.

There is no such option to change image container width in back office. You have to use custom CSS.
