Ticket #2296 - Customers cant add State in Address Field (USA)

Hi. I frequently have customers who have difficulty checking out due to the STATE field being missing or unseen at checkout process. When they get to paypal it rejects their payment due to the State field being missing. One customer has reported that it was not available at signup. I noticed a previous ticket where you updated a js file…see the link. Is this the same problem?

Hi.
I tried to go through the checkout process and it seems to be ok. with the field STATE everything is ok.

Did you tried the solution from the ticked you’ve found?
Copy the file from clean latest Prestashop prestashop_1.5.6.1.zip\prestashop\themes\default\js\tools\statesManagement.js
to your site
yoursite\themes\default\js\tools\statesManagement.js
and here
yoursite\themes\alysum_2.0\js\tools\statesManagement.js
