Ticket #23715 - Problem with module and your Template

Hello, I activated the Jpresta cache module. When I activate this module, the login header item disappears.
I have been told that it is a problem with the template or the pkheaderitems module.
Thank you so much

Hi, Martina
as I can see you are using Header Items widget. Try to remove it and use Sign In widget instead

Martina Farela 02 Sep 2022, 08:15

I can’t do that, because otherwise I would have to recreate the whole header

The developer told me it was some Javascript bug in the template, which had to be fixed with Javascript.

What javascript error do you mean? could you please provide more details?
for now the only error I see caused by livechatpro module https://take.ms/waVM5

“Here you can modify the javascript code that is executed after the dynamic modules and widgets have been displayed on the page.
If you encounter problems with your theme, ask the theme designer what Javascript to add here.”

This was told to me by the developer of the module.
I don’t know what JS code to insert. I only know that it hides the my account widget

Could you please make a test for me?
Just disable javascript in your browser, see the link how to do that in Chrome - https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/javascript/disable/ If the problem will disappear that will mean it caused by javascript.
Let me know the result

Now it disappears only if the client logs in.
While not logged in, “my account” appears

But when you log in the name should appear and nothing appears

it works as expected for me https://take.ms/P8qc0 I have tried to reload the page multiple times

I have found out the same issue on LiteSpeed documentation, so I’m not sure that’s related to our theme https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscps/troubleshoot/

Martina Farela 08 Sep 2022, 08:02

It works because right now I have the module disabled, until I can solve the problem

I checked everything the litespeed documentation says and it still doesn’t show up.

Thanks Fred
