Ticket #23725 - Screen freeze with : contact form , newsletter subscription , buy product

Hi,

I updated alysum theme and when using contact form , newsletter subscription , buy product the screen/website freezes.
But it works in back office, messages are received, subscription works and order added but nothing happens in front office, no any kind of confirmation for users.
Could you help?

I can’t reproduce the issue.
Could you please test it out in another browser or in Incognito mode?

When you try to buy something, to use the contact form or to subscribe to the newsletters, the screen freezes.
I tryed incognito mode or with chrome navigator, same result. Cleared cache a lot of times, didn’t change anything.

I’m surprised you could do one of these actions without freezing the website … Could you try to make an order with cheque payment and see if this work for example??

If already done, do you have any idea of what could cause this??

Yes, I finally see it.
When you click on submit button a script make a request to server and waiting for a response. In your case the response from server takes ~2min - https://take.ms/2PxoO

It’s definitely not theme’s issue. It’s clear server side problem
