Ticket #23790 - Problem with theme config and update
We have tried to upgrade our Prestashop from 1.7.7.5 to newer version with the “1-click upgrade” and during the upgrade something went wrong. We tried to use an automatic backup but it didn’t work so we had to do some manual changes to the directory.
Now the shop seems to be working but there is a problem with the settings module.
Is it possible to repair this issue and update our Venedor theme to the latest version?

The Theme Settings module was not hooked into it’s hooks. I just fixed that, now it seems to work

The button “check for updates” doesn’t seem to work in our settings module
In this case you can update the theme manually. See “Manual Update” in the theme’s documentation https://venedor3.promokit.eu/promokit/documentation/
The last time we have tried that it broke our setting module
Yes, I understand now. You have old Theme Settings module which need to uninstall and delete, because the latest theme version has completely new module with new technical name “pkthemesettings” (old one was “pk_themesetings”).
Can you please do this for us and then make the update to the latest Venedor version?
It would really help us out because we are not that good with IT

Also one thing that we noticed is that our payment module Stripe has an issue - people are not able to type in their credit card info. Not sure if this is somehow connected or a separate issue
Sorry for the delay, but we didn’t have free time to make this update. Theme update is not covering by support that’s why it has lower priority.

When you have time please check the Stripe payment module, that is a priority for us.

Ok, we were able to repair the Stripe payment module.
The only issue is now with the Venedor update to the newest version. I have read your documentation for manual update but was unable to do it - when i tried the settings module was broken.
I have tried to start uploading update files on your server, but it seems I have a problem with internet speed. I’m currently in small vacation and working from hotel.
If it’s not critical for you I would like to ask you to wait few days when I’ll back to my working place on this Saturday.

Main thing for us is that the webstore is operational at the moment.
