Ticket #8619 - categories in flexmenu

Hi, i just saw that :

- Empty categories are still present in menus (flexmenu)
- Deactivated categories are still present too.

How can I fix this.

We open the shop on wednesday, could you please answer us asap ?

Empty categories are still present in menus (flexmenu) Please tell me which exactly category should I check to see the issue
Deactivated categories are still present too If you deactivate categories in BO > Catalog then you need to remove these categories manually from Flex menu. Also don’t forget to clear the cache since you have it enabled

Hi, i think your flexmenu should work as others and check if categories/subcategories are empty. For exemple, bock categories on left column doesn’t show categories where no products are into.

If you deactivate categories in BO > Catalog then you need to remove these categories manually from Flex menu

If I do that I just can desactivate first level categories in menu but cannot desactivate sub categories…

Can you do something for that ? An option like “do not show empty categories” would be the best !

Sorry but the module works as is.
An option like “do not show empty categories” would be the best Unfortunately there is no fast solution.
We will try to do something like that in next module updates.

Ok. that’s really a problem…. customers click and get an empty page, without products in sub-categories…

Could you please show me on example where you have an issue?
I just compared default “Categories block” module and “Flex Menu” and they both shows empty categories.
