Hi, I see the instagram error “this user does not exist” http://c2n.me/3szlVBc
Please check your configuration data.

Hello,

I’ve changed in module “Feed content by” to Hashtag and I have a massage:

Uncaught Error: Error from Instagram: This request requires scope=public_content, but this access token is not authorized with this scope. The user must re-authorize your application with scope=public_content to be granted this permissions.

What else can I check or change?

Maybe this is connected with:

https://www.instagram.com/developer/authorization/ “Apps created on or after Nov 17, 2015 will start in Sandbox Mode and function on newly updated API rate-limits and behaviors. Prior to going Live, and being able to be used by people other than the developers of the app, these apps will have to go through a new review process. Please read the API documentation or the Change Log for more details.
Any app created before Nov 17, 2015 will continue to function until June 2016. After June 2016, the app will automatically be moved to Sandbox Mode if it wasn’t approved through the review process.”

Hi,
Yes, Instagram developers have implemented some restrictions for the new accounts. Please try to follow the instructions provided by Instagram team. I suppose your account will not be considered public until you re-authorize your application

Hi,

It’s not as easy.

“Provide a link to a video screencast showing a working Instagram Login experience in your app, as well as the usage of every permission you are requesting.” I can’t show such “movie” from my website, because it doesn’t work. I will try prepare such video from your demo website, but I’m not sure if it will be enough for Instagram.

What kind of permission does your Instagram Feed need? Public_content?
In such case Instagram ask for: “This section is required only if you need any permission other than basic. For each permission that you are requesting, provide a detailed description of how your app uses the permission”.
Could you answer for this question?

I’ll be very glad for help.

Hi.
Our module don’t have any specific configuration. That is Instagram API issue.

Here is related issue
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/33863505/oauthpermissionsexception-instagram-api-in-sandbox
http://c2n.me/3sXyo0M

I hope it will help.
If no. Try to google “Instagram This request requires scope=public_content, but this access token is not authorized with this scope. The user must re-authorize your application with scope=public_content to be granted this permissions.”

Hello,

Your response is not sufficient

I think that your Instagram Feed require Public_content permission. I need to add this permission for my Instagram client.
In such case Instagram ask for information: “For each permission that you are requesting, provide a detailed description of how your app uses the permission”.
Could you or your programmer answer for this question?

Hello Darius.
I’m sorry for the delay. I have a limited internet access now.
Yes, I know about changes in instagram API. I’ll try to figure out how to make the module more smooth in configuration.

Hello Darius.
I have looked into my Instagram developer account and found that to make it work you need to submit a permissions request. Have you tried to do that?

Hello,

I’ve tried. Answer from Instagram below:

General issues:
Invalid Use Case: The use case described in your submission notes, screencast and website is not a valid use case. If you are a developer and you want to showcase your Instagram content on a website, then you do not need to submit your app for review. By using a client in sandbox mode, you can access the last 20 media of any sandbox user that grants you permission. For more information, see our documentation on Sandbox mode: https://www.instagram.com/developer/sandbox/ public_content:
This permission (public_content) does not support the use case you described in your submission notes, screencast and website. Please review Login Permissions (http://instagram.com/developer/authorization/) for a comprehensive list of permissions and valid use cases.

Hi Darius.
I can’t understand. I just put my API keys to your module and it works fine. So something wrong with permissions in your Instagram
