Ticket #9803 - UTF-8 font in MS Edge
Hello there,
I’m from Czech Republic and we usually use font with UTF-8.
With Google Chrome there is no problem with font but with MS Edge font is not working (or is showing wrong “č”, “ř” etc.).
My page is http://toms.avon-centrum-ostrava.cz/
Any suggestion?
Thank you
Daniel

Done.
Here is a screenshot from my Edge https://www.dropbox.com/s/5q48uo7l1zerbhq/scr.jpg?dl=0
Could you please test Czech symbols directly on the google fonts service https://www.google.com/fonts
Hello Marek,
here is my screen (Edge, IE, FireFox). https://www.dropbox.com/s/ajq3ebh82v02jxh/scr.jpg?dl=0
On Google Fonts are symbols OK. In Google Chrome are on page good as well. Only IE and Edge are not good.
Ok, I need a time to find a solution
I just found that you have the same issue in your back office, so it means that is not theme issue. I’ll try to solve that, but I can’t promise you a solution
The solution was very easy. Just an option “Use latin extended symbols” was disabled
Thank you Marek :)
