Ticket #9893 - Homeslider Issue

Hi,

Apologies if this is a duplicate, the page crashed on submit.

We want our homepage to look like the demo http://venedor.promokit.eu/pinegreen/en/ , so we have enabled the homeslider and uploaded a watermarked image (for now).

Question 1) how do you make the image appear in the background?
Question 2) what exact size width and height should the image be? if we put 1230 and set max width to 1230, it does not display well on ipad. If we make it a bit smaller it displays on pc but not well on ipad.
Question 3) how do you change the font colour and style in the text so it shows on the slider?

Many thanks for this, great.

What exact size should the image be to work on tablet and pc? see screen shot, the background doesn’t cover the whole screen, it only covers left hand side.
If I make the image bigger it doesn’t display well on ipad.

Also block cmsinfo now only shows on mobile not pc. Can this be due to changes when the enabling of the home slider? If you look at the source code of the page the div tags are there, just not visible on screen:

CMS info block. Add to the CustomCSS 

.preset8 #cmsinfo_block, .preset8 #pk_message {clear: left !important}

Thank you, customCSS fixed the issue, it shows the text block both on PC and tablet.

The 1230 image size now displays correctly on tablet. (not sure why!)

The only issue is on PC (attached screenshot) the background sits on the left of the screen it does not cover the right of the screen.
