Ticket #24180 - Error 500 in backend after updating Prestashop to version 8.0.1
Hello, basically i have version 1.7.7 and upgraded with 1ClickUpgrade module to Prestashop 8.0.1
The problem is now that i cannot acces the backend. The error that im getting is:

What ive tryed so far:
- disabled the module
- deleting the module
- deleting cache
- changed to the default Prestashop theme

The website is climatizareonline.ro and the backend details are in the account
Hi, Bianca Mitrea.
That’s known prestashop problem. Try to delete manually cache folders
ok, i will try again
i managed to log in, but theme settings are looking weird and some options in Prestashop give me 500 error
Also now in frontend it gives me this error:
Never seen such error before.
I have found some customers also reported that https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/1052034-php-fatal-error-kernel-container-is-not-available-in-varwwwhtmlwwwsrcadaptercontainerfinderphp77/
Do you have an option to reinstall Prestashop from scratch?
And this error when im trying to acces „hooks”
i cannot reinstall Prestashop from scratch
But it doesn’t work correctly. I would advise you to do that.
What is the problem with reinstalling? Do you need assistance?
EDITED
Do you have any progress with that?
i succeeded into downgrading Prestashop, now the frontend works (most of it) but now i cannot acces the backend with a different error
The error you have is not related to the theme or modules, something wrong with server configuration.
I have tried to login to your back office https://climatizareonline.ro/backend but it doesn’t work so I’m not able to see the issue
it works now, ive restored again the backup
great!
I don’t understand what’s going on, but that’s definitely not related to our theme.
I assume something wrong with server configuration, because Prestashop usually works fine
the strange thing is that after the update (the theme update to the latest version) and the Prestashop Core update, everything worked just fine.
Can you try to update once more? Maybe to the latest Prestashop version 8.0?
So yea… I didn’t reache any conclusion. I migreted the website to WordPress. Where can I get a refund?
Go to your themeforest account that request refund there
