Ticket #24226 - I can't edit the Home page in AMP

Fresh installation as instructed in the documentation. I set everything up in Elementor and I like the mechanism itself.
I went into the AMP settings.
The problem is that according to the documentation, the Google AMP menu should appear in the back-end. it doesn’t exist.
I found a module that is responsible for it, but how do I enter the settings
Home Page Configuration
I see the error Page not found

The site is based solely on PS8 and the template with add-ons that provides nothing else was and is not installed.
PHP 8

Hi, Rafał.
Looks like something went wrong during installation. Try to reset AMP module

Rafał Kobyliński 01 Feb 2023, 19:16

I entered the Promokit AMP module. → General Settings → at the bottom I clicked Reset AMP Settings
Didn’t help, the problem still exists.

Thank you.
Can you tell what was the cause?

Fred 02 Feb 2023, 20:01

I just reinstalled the module

There was another problem in AMP
When I add a product to the cart on the front-end it doesn’t work.
On the desktop version, the shopping cart works.

Hi Rafal
We already know about this issue. It’s related to Prestashop 8.x only.
We are working to find a solution

Rafał Kobyliński 04 Feb 2023, 10:09

The store has not yet started and is in the process of being prepared.
What do you suggest to bypass it or how long can the problem take?

Fred 04 Feb 2023, 10:10

AMP is just an option and can be disabled with no problem.

Rafał Kobyliński 05 Feb 2023, 23:59

Another problem arose.
Generally the AMP module does not work.
I wanted to disable the module in Prestashop, but an error popped up and it was impossible to disable it.
I found an option inside the module called “disable for tablet” and “disable for phone”. I clicked to turn off.
Super checked and for the phone and tablet AMP turned off. The test was positive, even though the appearance of the website was not satisfactory.
After this test, I entered the module again and this time I clicked to enable AMP for phone and tablet.
It turns out that now AMP from the front does not work.
Editing Home Page in AMP doesn’t work either

We already know about the AMP issue and working hard to provide a solution as soon as possible.
Here is another ticket about the same issue where you can find some details
To disable the module you can just rename it’s folder.
